Bunch of avatat and themes on offer as well - http://xbldb.com/offer-history/price-changes

**Gunstringer DLC, RAAM and forza 4 bits added. Checked US and UK accounts and they haven't added any panels yet. More stuff might pop up.

I wonder if the Porsche pack was originally intended to launch at 1600... or that was a trial balloon. Seems like a tough price to sell for.

A lot of deals this week. I played Happy Action Theater once, and like so many Kinect titles it kinda freaked my three-year-old out. (He's a little... OK, a lot... on the sensitive side). Guess I could've waited.

Might get Haunt (price is right), but I often find it more trouble than it's worth to bring out the Kinect. It can't stay attached to the TV or it would probably get destroyed in our house.

42 unlockable chars, eh? And a decent amount of stages, plus online and offline multi? I have to think Joyride ends up better this way, than if it was F2P. The same amount of content would have probably cost you $100 the way this kind of stuff goes (Would have probably had to pick and choose from 41 additional cars, after the first, for 80 msp each, or something to that effect).

I wish we'd hear more about Spelunky and Dungeon Fighter Live: Fall of Hendon Myre already... oh, and Happy Wars! At least Spelunky acts alive... DFL and Happy Wars seem to have fallen off the face of the earth, and could REALLY do well with something like AT LEAST monthly updates or something.

I'll never understand it when companies put HUGE gaps between trailer releases, or updates on a games status. It's like they want to get you very excited... and then let you forget the product ever existed...

E3 is coming up. MS has always done a good job with XBLA demos at trade shows so you'll probably get some hands on impressions of most of the big upcoming releases.

Hmmm now its showing the Porsche expansion as 1200 points on major nelson's site, wonder if it really wont be 1600 points as originally announced.

So... Would any of the Kinect titles be worth picking up in case I get a cheap Kinect later? Probably gonna throw more money at Double Fine in any case on principle.

I don't know about Hole in the Wall but the rest are well worth a purchase. The Double Fine game is worth a purchase at full price, so principle or not, it's a great buy on sale.

Fruit Ninja Kinect is pretty good.

I really don't know how to play this. Like, Leedmees for example you can see exactly how your movements affect the on-screen avatar. In Fruit Ninja all I can think of to do is just wave my arms around and hope for the best as soon as some fruit appears. It's really not fun at all when played like that, but I can't work out how else to play it.

Uh... don't you see your shadow in the background?

Not too shabby of a sale. Picked up Iron Brigade plus DLC, Trials HD and Double Fine Happy Action Theatre. Might swing back and pick up the Gunstringer DLC.

Is the Trials DLC that's for sale the good one or the crap one?

Sweet sale! Picked up Iron Brigade and Orcs Must Die... With having just completed Toy Soldiers, I guess I'm all about third-person action tower defense lately. Orcs Must Die was pretty awesome though.

Also tried Jam Live Music Arcade and I have no idea what's going on! I got a gold medal just for fiddling around but I have no idea how to win... It's US only too.

FFS.

I've got a code for this on PS3 but all my plastic instruments are on Xbox so it's pretty useless to me. I don't suppose anyone wants to trade it for 800MSP (US) so I can get it from the US marketplace, do they?
It's pretty much a controller game with slapped-on peripheral support, though. There's no real reason to use a guitar as far as I can see in the trial.

Maybe arcade mode is more hectic and requires the guitar; feels like a bad idea for them to lock that in the demo. You're only allowed to play the seemingly pointless "jam" mode that has no challenge whatsoever.

Yeah I do, but it just never really feels accurate enough, I can avoid bombs and stuff but if I try and slice fruit properly I can't do it, waving my arms around like an idiot is more successful. I don't "get" it.
You should be able to do a chopping motion like you are cutting at the screen with a knife...like you are aiming with the edge of your hand

DF Action Theater.... awesome deal. Anyone with a Kinect should try it.. anyone with a Kinect and children.... it's a MUST buy. Best game I've bought in the last year.

Golgoth Studio still exists:

Hi Golgoth Fans, little update starting by Magical Drop V, the Alpha version Steam & Xbox 360 was Approved in April by Publisher , we are actually working on the Network side and localization Beta version is plan to be delivered by this Month, game still plan to release this summer ! ok ok we are always in late, but its better than never !

second Update , regarding the really awaiting Toki remixed ! even if we don't want to specify any date for the moment, its really, for not say really possible , that Toki will be available at the end of the summer , and yes of this year ! :) Around August to be a little more exact !

Even though it's taking a LONG time, I never really doubt their releases are coming, for some reason. Maybe it's because they're obviously passionate about it, and I just get the feeling they've been taken a bit by surprise at publishing difficulties and content creation, and set some overly-ambitious goals...

But it's great to get re-confirmation on everything! Would be nice to the XBLA and Steam Versions of Magical Drop V to come out around the same time, and Toki looks great, would love to see more stage gameplay for it.

Hmmm, very interesting...

It's release date on Xbox.com has updated from the old 12/31/2799 date that it, Spelunky, and Crimson Dragon (among others) have shared for so long, to 5/30/2012... hoping this is true! Or at least that it means we'll hear some news about it soon!

I thought Pi Studios were on Toki.

Heh, their site still list Bonk: Brink of Extinction as their next upcoming project... eww. But no, we've know of this Toki being in production for years now, don't remember Pi ever being mentioned. I'd still like to get a chance to try out the Bonk game too,, even with it's fairly ugly Bonk, but alas, apparently not meant to be...

Crimson Dragon is that hyped Kinect game, correct? I thought that was MS published, I wonder why they didn't put it in Arcade NEXT promotion if it was so close to gold. Maybe it wasn't quite there, yet.

I noticed that Crimson Dragon, Frogger: Hyper Arcade and Warlords HD got cheevos, so they'll probably be out soonish.

There are quite a lot of games with 200 achievement points that aren't out yet. I think MS are going to miss their deadline on that and they're going to creep well into June.

Frogger Hyper
Joy Ride
Warlords
Alex Kidd
Mad Riders
Monster World
Dragon's Lair
Babel Rising

Only two of those have release dates, don't they?

Where can I find a list of the games that still have 200gs achievements? Is there a definitive list anywhere?

EDIT: You da man, toythatkills.

Mad Riders is showing up as May 30th on Wikipedia, and Babel is showing up as June 13th. There are some more open spots this month so I would be surprised if Frogger, Kidd, Warlords or Monster World didn't take some of them. I don't expect to see many 200 pointers after SoA.
