Nintendo E3 2012 coverage details

I'm very excited for the developer discussion with Wii U hardware producer Katsuya Eguchi. Presumably it will be mostly about the functions of the Wii U Remote, but perhaps he will talk about what the system actually incorporates in terms of processor, video card etc. I don't expect it, but due to the interview being made available almost at midnight it would be nice to have such details. Nintendo rarely discloses specs (meaning clock frequencies, RAM and such) of its systems, I don't think they have since Gamecube was introduced.

So will Software Showcase be new stuff or just showing what was at press con?

What if Nintendo takes the whole one hour of the conference only for the Wii U, and then the Software Showcase will be for everything else? 3DS and some Wii, maybe more Wii U.

Naaah, they'll have both Wii U and 3DS in the conference. Still, if some games haven't appeared there, they'll appear in the Software Showcase I think :D

Anyone know of any other sites that will livestream the Nintendo event? Preferably one that isn't blocked at work. :/

Isn't 11:30 PM PDT really late to be having a conference? Or is it going to be a pre-recorded thing that becomes available then?

So the

Software Showcase
Wednesday, June 6 @ 6 p.m. PDT

isn't going to be on MTV2 or Spike? ...guess I'll just have to watch online then.

I'm attending. Being there is awesome because you have no fear of lag or misquoted updates, but missing out on the .gif parade in real time is quite awful.

Yeah, that does sound pretty cool.

Depending on from where the interview is made, it might be either. 11:30 PM PDT converts to 03:30 PM JST. But I don't know if Eguchi-san is a fluent English speaker, if the interview is made from Japan it will perhaps be pre-recorded and dubbed. Or it might just be in text form, who knows?

</body>
</ready>

Malformed

Code:
<body>
   <ready>
        you
   </ready>
</body>

Or, doing away with nested tags and text nodes, and seeing your body as an attribute:

Code:
<you body="ready" />

JSON

Code:
{
   body: "ready"
}

PHP

Code:
<?php

class body {
   function __construct() {
      $this->ready = true;
   }
   function isBodyReady(){
      if ($this->ready == true) {
         echo "My body is ready";
      }
   }
}

$myBody = new body();
$myBody->isBodyReady();

?>

SQL

Code:
SELECT * FROM neoGAF WHERE myBody LIKE '%ready'

Above resultset returns all of NeoGAF

Nice to know that they'll be showing all the conferences on SPike this year instead of just Microsoft's. Will probably watch on TV in case the streams choke up again.

After two years of lag-ridden streaming of the conference while parked outside the Starbucks by my office on my lunch hour, I took the day off to watch in the comfort of my living room.

G4 is no longer broadcasting Nintendo's conference live? So, it's possible that they've gone from having the exclusive rights to Sony and Nintendo's conferences to not having any conferences?

Very smart... I approve of what they're doing for coverage this year.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to be on G4 when Spike is in way more households.
