Pfeiffer was a pretty Catwoman but not really true to the comics whatsoever. Hathaway's actually seems more faithful to that character honestly.

I haven't set anything in stone. I admitted I hadn't seen the movie and Anne has a lot of work to do if she wants to supplant Pfieffer as Catwoman in my eyes. I have no dog in this fight. And I couldn't care less about total box office receipts. I'm just stating my opinion that Pfieffer was an excellent Catwoman (in as far as comic book movies 20 years ago could be).

How did you get BO receipts into this discussion? While I agree Pfieffer did an excellent take on Catwoman, which perfectly fit that universe, its no where close to Ledger's joker. I dont think we'll see anyone top Ledger's performance in a comic book adaptation, atleast anytime soon.

Personally I think its just GAF's innate hate for Anne. Besides that, Catwoman isnt the central focus of TDKR like joker was in TDK for people to start twisting their panties yet.

We've had like 10 secs of Catwoman after so many trailers and TV spots, and she's already the closest interpretation of Catwoman from the comics in live action that we've ever had. I don't need arm chair film gaf.
