Project P-100 (Nintendo/Platinum Games) announced for WiiU [Director: Hideki Kamiya]

I didn't think this could get any worse. Please make it stop. Please! How could they not have Kamiya work on Star Fox over this. NO! The cake is a lie!

This looks pretty damn awesome to me. Action looks nice and fluid, as is to be expected. Kamiya as director is <3 Hype, hype, hype. Fuck the haters. Hard.

Yeah, totally.

Except Kamiya working on it kills the possibility of Bayo 2, which is the single worst thing to come out of this E3.

Sega killed the possibility of Bayonetta 2. This keeps the lights on and gets a Kamiya game out.

You guys know how I have been saying "Bayonetta 2 is dead" since November of last year?

I wasn't, like, speculating.

Watched demo on Spike, looks REALLY good!

E3 video did not do this game justice. If anyone is able to watch the Spike interview / demo, DO IT NOW!

When people make the same shit again, GAF complains. When a noted game director tries something totally new, people complain he's not making the same shit again.

Man, no one is ever satisfied.

I still dont understand why both Sony and Nintendo didnt show more of the original stuff they clearly have in store, until AFTER the conference.

Then again, we've still got a few more days of E3 left.

Is this similar to Army Corpse of Hell in any way?
I also recall a PSP game wich had the main character use little robots in the same way.

And there is indeed a slightly smell of vietiful joe.

A lot of reactions about the graphics mirror the ones from when Wind Waker was announced.

I think it looks great, the only "problem" is when they show you characters in full screen when they are meant to be viewed in a gameplay angle. Lots of Japanese games do this

Seriously, what the hell guys?

It's a brand-fucking-new IP from a guy whose work history is pretty much impeccable, with gameplay that looks incredible, and you don't want it?

I'm loving this game, looks really good and fun. I was on the fence with the Wii U but this actually pushes me over.

On the flip side i'm sad because the Platinum/clover curse is going to kick in with this game I can tell right now. It looks too weird for casuals and anyone else interested in this type of game will be picking up Pikmin instead. They have no luck.

Kamiya + Inaba = It's definitely interesting

I'm going to remain hopeful that this casual game is just a side project given how quickly it will come out (Wii U's launch) and that he still has something major planned for TGS for the hardcore crowd. No fucking way is this all Kamiya's doing.

I like how being a fan of a director means he should do exactly what you expect rather than just trusting in his judgment.

caught me off guard given what i expected from platinum but it looks original, creative and interesting and suits the nintendo platform well. should have shown it at the conference jeez.

great looking game can't wait to get it, I thought Nintendo had a good show, you guys need to manage your expectation

Not like this, Kamiya... not... like this :(

Platinum + Kamiya + More Powerful Console and all I feel is meh. Heartbreaking.

I get a Viewtiful Joe vibe.
That's what I thought, and I already was excited knowing that a Platinum game was coming, but then I saw the video...
It's like The Last Guy / Pikmin on steroids :(

I doubt it's the Kamiya game. Maybe it's outsourced like the DS game they released.

I'm really interested to see how the different heroes can be acquired. I love the idea of gathering a super hero team together, especially when it's like, a swarm of them.

"Players can use the Wii U GamePad's touch screen to command heroes such as Bonzai Man, Vending Machine Man and even Toilet Bowl Man."

Game of show. GAME OF FUCKING SHOW.
