Almost everything involving 3rd parties seemed that way. Even Reggie was have problems remembering the scripted conversations. He completely stumbled at one point.

It's not a hope I have or anything ... I'm just saying it would be a lame tentative to gain back popularity. Saying "Guys, we're making Smash Bros" without anything to show was pretty lame. It's not like there were going to kill one of their most successful franchise.
We KNOW Aonuma is making a 3DS Zelda. I don't see why he wouldn't. And after that, he will make a WiiU Zelda. That's his life. Making Zeldas.

I like your list, so overall I wouldn't be disappointed. Just hoping for Golden Sun 3DS and I'll be set.

Btw, maybe this has already been speculated about. But what if the fact that the 3DS got time on the conference that was supposed to be only about Wii U means that the Wii U will get some time on the 3DS conference? What do you think the odds of that are?

Given the generally high amount of idiocy amongst all 3 hardware makers this year with respect to conferences, it wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo thought that such a thing wasn't big enough for the main conference.

I guess I just want Nintendo to actually react to their fanbase, taking in and answering Twitter questions and such. But there's no guarantee that would happen on a live broadcast, I know.
I give Nintendo credit though. They seem to be doing a lot of things right lately, in terms of connecting with their audience through social media and even having a pre-E3 event and a show dedicated to the 3DS. I even think Miiverse looks really cool.
This is the kind of stuff I feel Microsoft and Sony should be doing. Even though the Nintendo conference was disappointing in many ways, I feel stuff like the pre-show, the event tonight, and the actual focus on GAMES is very in touch with us, the core gaming audience who will watch E3's events.
