Might be on the 360 store too, not sure. Downloading now.

It's 1305MB.

If you need help tracking it:

Fourth in the list on the right.

Also comes up in the preview eventually, under Dragon's Dogma.

Incidentally, the Tokyo Jungle theme this week rocks.

-Full voice acted, I kind of get the jist of what's going on. They're testing out their robot, which they want to be the strongest.
-Menus are in English, of course. :(
-Portraits are cel-shaded and animated, kinda like Idolm@ster.

Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate both got PC releases after the console releases and this probably will as well, which means a fan translation will almost certainly be done. It's gonna be a long wait though.

The title music is awesome btw.

So I finished it. LONG demo. At least 2-3 hours, depending on your reading speed.

The 3d graphics did not grow on me. In fact, seeing snippets of the high-res 2d art along the way, I wish they'd used that with talking portraits like Umineko.

There are some fun robot battles that break up the VN segments, done with chained button presses, but none of them were difficult.

From my cursory knowledge of the language, they're in a robotics club(obviously), and the protagonist wants to make a robot to rival the one in his favorite show/online game.

Would buy if localized. Love the normal atmosphere of the game, despite some stereotypical anime trappings.

I went into this demo having no idea what to expect, and with my terrible Japanese reading skills and my effort to try to understand at least a little bit of everything that was said, it took me six hours to reach the end. Definitely way longer than I expected from a demo where you can't save.

The main character is a fighting game nerd who's one of the best in the world at a first-person online robot fighting game. His friend is a total robot otaku who dreams of building her own giant robot. Together, they make up the full membership of their high school robot club. The demo chronicles their efforts to overhaul a foot-tall fighting robot to compete in a battle competition.

I haven't played many VNs, so it's hard for me to comment on this one's relative quality. But I find the 3D character model experiment kind of weird. The animations are fine, but they repeat a lot, and they make me even more aware of the times when they're over-abstracting a situation (like a moment early on where the friend is taking a drink from a bottle, and it just shows her standing there while making drinking sounds).

It's pretty anime, but it seems interesting. I'd have enjoyed it more if I were capable of experiencing it at a normal pace. Even during the course of the demo, the protagonist develops in a pretty satisfying way. There are some weird mystery teases dropped that imply the story could go just about anywhere. There's a ton of supplementary stuff that you can interact with at any time through the character's smartphone (including twitter feeds for principal characters and other people in the world that updates over the course of the game) that'll probably make the game even harder to localize than it already is.

I wouldn't play it in Japanese until I get an order of magnitude better at reading, but it's different enough that I'd be interested at the right price in English.

Also, 5pb put the video that played at the end up on Youtube.
