A bit of both. I cut down on my carbs last summer and lost about 20lbs (went from 190 -> 170lbs in 2 months), but then went on vacation for a week and decided to take a break. That break lasted until last week!
I'll try to maintain it for good now. I'm not going all out or anything, but cutting out most sugar, potatoes, and bread. The upside is that it forces me to cook a lot more so in a few months hopefully I'll have a nice repertoire of tasty meals.Going to start going to the gym as well once I can find a workout buddy on my schedule.
85% dark chocolate fits nicely on a lowish carb diet plan. 2 squares of dark chocolate + a few almonds makes for a tasty afternoon snack.![]()
Before I lost weight I tried so hard to cut out carbs and it made me miserable. I was going about it the wrong way, but even just cutting down on them can be really hard. Good luck to you. Cooking more at home is a great upside, though. ^_^ Do post any culinary creations you perfect!

Both are super sweet... Do you mix them with savory stuff or something?
