All spiders should die. They don't even really kill that many other bugs in their lifetimes. Totally useless.

My dogs really don't like to pose for pics. This is about the only good pic I have of them.

The corgi on the right is my babygirl. Her name is Corabelle but she responds to a bunch of different nicknames/variations.
The dogs are adorable and I agree 200% that all spiders must die. All of them.

My oldest stuffed animal (I don't remember how old I was) was a gray cat named Conrad.

I also had a parakeet (real one) that I named Conrad. But when he turned out to be a she I renamed her Connie.

I don't know what I liked so much about the name Conrad.

I can't understand why people like to have pets :S, they're a cost, dirty and you have to take care about... :S.

I dunno, I'm just a sucker for all animals (except monkeys. They can go fuck themselves). There's nothing better to me than going to the zoo and looking at all the adorable animals. I want to love and cuddle all of them!

My cat doesn't cost that much (especially relatively to the joy I have having her with me) and she keeps herself clean.

I find that sentence would more apply to babies. :o

Kitties all day, everyday. It's my dream to become a reclusive cat lady :D

Kitties are awesome, but they just aren't my favorite. Raccoons are my favorite animals and I want one more than I can express. I know they're a bit destructive but I still want one! Too bad they're illegal to own in Maryland.

ZOMG, so cute!!!

Though I'd most likely get a pot belly.

Imagine getting to cuddle with this fat tubba lard every day! I'd love it!

Oh hey, my best friend could give you tips on that! She's got nine of them. D: I'm happy with my one to be honest. She requires a LOT of attention. My best friend is married though, to bust the cat-lady forever-alone myth.

Kitsune, move elsewhere and get a baby raccoon :3

Billie, same, except boyfriend haha.

Lissar, that's awesome :O Nine cats, nine lives each...dang.

Like children. Except cuter.

EDIT: Damn you, Lissar!

Well, that's maybe the reason we won't be parents, but I think to bring up and raise a child make up for the other bad things and there's a time that little child start to reason out, something a pet cannot do.

I've thought about it. Pretty sure I could own one in Virginia. That's where my cousin lived when she owned her pet possum. Sweet little thing, I don't understand why most people dislike them.

Sorry, It was meant to happen :P
No, that's what I'm going for someday lol :D

Kitsune, do it someday! Raccoons are so cute.

That's...almost the same with me and guys, Billie, so don't worry haha.

My cat passed away about ten months ago, but

He was dirty, expensive, and required a lot of care. He divebombed on my stomach on my days off to wake me up and basically ensured that any attempt at homework or writing would end with him on top of my keyboard. My laptop probably had more cat hair in it than electronics.

He was also my best friend. He wasn't a burden, he was there for me as much as I was there for him. When I felt most alone, he slept next to me every night. From when he was a kitten riding around in my hoodie front pocket to when he was an adult, he always knew when I needed something to be there for me.

When he had to be put down (which was the only choice versus a terminal disease affecting his kidneys) and was laying at that table, looking up at me and purring as he fell asleep, I was happy that he no longer had to suffer. I went back to my car, unlocked the door, put the key in...and just thought about how we never broke eye contact in those last few seconds before he died. I don't cry often, but I lost my best friend.

Burden or not, a pet is more than just a series of chores to keep them alive.

If I make them, I will! I need to go get a couple of other ingredients :)

Too late, I always get hyped for cookies. you can't say no now... =(

Edit: Now I'm sad Alberto... My friend also had to do the same except her cat had cancer. She tried to keep him alive for one entire year but she knew it was a matter of time.

Awww. Sorry you lost your buddy Alberto. I'm glad you had him since he was a wee kitten, and I'm sure he gave you lots of love and affection in return for all the care you provided.
