I'm back from a fun day out. I got the prettiest light pink satin from the remnants pile! Managed to get almost everything I need for a new costume.

I know it might not make any sense, but I just found myself getting physically nervous at the thought of posting in other threads having a photo of myself beside my post. I've never used my photo as my avatar before on any message forum, and I just wasn't really expecting the reaction I had to doing so. On one hand, it was actually very cool—but on the other, I was getting ridiculously freaked out over such a stupidly small thing. *laughs*

My intention was never to be a drama queen here in the thread, so I really apologize for all of this. I'll still have time in "real avatar July" once I get back from Comic-Con, so maybe I'll give it another go then. I had really wanted to take part back in January when the idea was kicked off, but I just never got up the guts to.
