I'm - and really hoping on this - thinking that after the popularity of Rebecca Black's "Friday" that they're really trying to be as bad as possible for publicity's sake.

The weird thing is, they couldn't even autotune it correctly. Look at all the videos on YouTube where they take something like Mr. Rogers and make an awesome autotuned song.
