Can someone tell me why people are hating that much on Revelations?

Pot bonus reportedly got cut last minute, somewhat more haphazard than usual tournament fare (starting extremely late on day 1 due to not clearing the event with the fire marshall or something), blacklisted by notable figures (LevelUp, Madcatz, SRK, Eventhubs, UltraChen) due to previous bad dealings with the TO.

J Wong definitely has tried his best in UMvC3 for Revelations and he looked far sharper and less sloppy than he has been for a long time already. Problem is, F Champ's just too good and just too far ahead of J Wong.

Yeah, people talking over other people for 30 minutes and the fear of potential spontaneous freestyle from RedRapper meant I closed the video immediately when they started playing the interview.

He does intros for tournament streams, and that's it? Why is he doing commentary over an interview from the Revelations organizer?

I guess he said over at SRK he'd upload the raw interview so people could hear what was going on without him dropping homophobic slurs inbetween bad jokes, but at that point he just started getting in fights with people.

Unless I missed something, most complaints have been about shady things the organizer of Revelations had done previous years, and not about Revelations 2012.
