Latif had a amazing set with Hishou(one of Japan's best Sagat players) in a FT6. This one was back and forth and went down to the wire.

I am 99% positive that I either remember meeting you or you posted on SRK or something (sorry I have a terrible memory!). I swear I had your gamertag listed on the Arkansas "players list" on SRK lol.
Little Rock GameCon had a lot of problems, but it was great for the scene because it inspired us to actually form a gaming community and build. Unfortunately the guy who ran that convention is either on hiatus or retired from Conventions due to a lot of stuff that's happened to him, but the Arkansas gaming scene has flourished!
I will say a couple of things though-
First off, we try our hardest to remove ALL barriers of entry because we know how fragile a small scene is. Unfortunately we had to choose a console and most sticks aren't dual modded. However, I can guarantee you that people will let you use their 360 sticks at ARK V if you come. If (by some act of God) they don't, come to me and you can borrow my stick.
Second, while I encourage everyone to compete (for experience and just to have a great time), we know how bad the economy is. We have totally knocked out the spectator fee so if you just want to come, watch, and play casuals it's absolutely free. If you have time and you're in town, drop by and say hello
Yep, that was me! We met at GameCon, me and a couple friends made the drive up to Little Rock for SSF4, and I remember you were the only one to up there to talk to me, that meant alot, thanks. I would LOVE to come and hang out to play casual matches, watch, etc. But, the gas just driving up would probably eat me alive, lol. It's all good, I'm cheering for you guys, it's amazing to me how you keep getting huge FGC names to come to ARK. Keep it up.

Gonna say Andre over CJ too. Andre makes better decisions IMO, just doesn't finish the crucial combos. By and large he can patch it together though.

It gets much more interesting with better players, but yeah, lower level play can be very repetitive.
Seems that way, error messages like crazy.
I feel the same way with SF4. For me personally, its like: High level SF4 > high level Marvel > low level marvel > low level SF4
I haven't gotten around to watching P4A too much since I feel like I can't fully appreciate/understand if I haven't even played the game yet.
Salty Battles stream after all the tournaments have ended, but it's over now.
Jaxel was saying mid-stream he suddenly lost connection to the Twitch API. That's also when errors started popping up everywhere if you tried to access new streams. Definitely twitch-wide issues going on.
I agree with this entire post.
I wish I could understand P4A more to appreciate it, but I think I have a basic understanding of the mechanics of the game. I just kind of keep watching hoping it will click or something, but I'm not completely entertained by it so to speak. It just looks intriguing to me.
