Why? Seems childish. If he wins he wins, he loses he loses.

Who knows? While I don't agree with the way they are going about it, I agree with the sentiment. ChrisG shouldn't really be getting all that mad if he goes into a game without studying and practicing up and loses to someone with better knowledge of the game.

You guys can't honestly say you don't go too far though... come on, turn it down a notch for new players in the scene. @LordKnightBB

That's not really a bad thing to say at all. You could say that for almost any game.

Why does anybody care though? Why do they care if he takes it serious or not or if he is part of that sub community or not?

More people playing that game is a good thing, right?

Does it make them feel less if he happens to when? Did mk players feel that way about Wong? Will all tekken community feel that way when ttt2 drops?

If some guy rocks up and wins out of nowhere, you are not going to feel particularly good about your community and all the work you do. Heck even see the "09er" tag for Capcom games.

It is just pretty natural to want to see him lose to those who are "putting in the work".

Plus Chris G mostly carries on like a sook when he loses, so you get a double win from winding him up.

Uh if you look at it in an twisted way THEY WANT HIM TO JOIN THE COMMUNITY. They are trying to say you can't just hop in with typical fundamentals and win vs us you gotta stick with it the long run if you want to win a tournament for shits and giggles. The dumb thing is NO SHIT you can't do that with most games of any nature. People really don't know how to fucking convey messages properly and end up spitting shit that looks like raw shit talk or cry baby whining half the damn time.

You've lost me here. So you agree that it's pointless and childish or...?
Yes I'm agreeing with you.

This is his biggest fault as a player, he really needs to step passed this shit. If he wasn't as good as he is he would being in a bigger downward spiral than he shows half the time already. I have a friend who is just like this, plays really fucking good and solid a few things go wrong and they lose all sense of willing to continue.

I guess that how every community feels about Jwong.

Chris G does takes his loses hard. I've talk to some big two regulars about that and they say he always blames himself for losing it's never the other guy who simply got him. Some guys take that to heart.

I think the reactions to Spooky setting the monsters free makes stream chat worth it.

As for Chris G, people are fucking happy they're not being bodied by the best player on the east coast. There's not much to read into it, Chris should just stop taking things so personally and see that the only reason they're so happy about it is because they know how good he is at other games.

Yes, this is why I tell people to not post on dustloop outside of info related things. That community turned really really vile after sf4 came out. Not everyone is an ass but there are a lot of bad seeds.
I never had that experience. But then again, I mained Tager during my brief time playing BlazBlue. The low tier players tend to be friendly in any community. They're so lonely...

3 games, BB, GG ,and P4A. 3 person teams, each person assigned to a game. 2 players in the team need to win their games to advance.
That's how the current M:TG constructed teams work (3 players, all w/ a different deck format) and it is indeed a sick way to run a team tournament.

Only difficult part would be the streaming logistics.

haha sounds awesome. I'd fill in for the GG spot on mah team if I was able to go to stuff like that.
I don't think he's being a diva he just decided to openly state why he didn't agree with something.
But you gotta remember people talk mad shit about him in marvel as well. What's the difference here?

How does age have anything to do with this?

You would hope the older players are more mature.

Like for example guys like Watson, Valle, Choi, and the Cannons are now stopping the drama instead of pushing for it. Remember the SBO qualifier pop off from Fanatiq on Infrit? It was Watson who told Fanatiq to knock it off. The old Watson would of pushed Fanatiq to go into full pop off mode.
