Romney is unable to answer a simple question. "If Afghanistan isn't ready to take over, will we stay?"

No answer at all beyond "we'll totally be ready Bob"

I'm genuinely wondering where the questions on our soldiers are. What kind of job resources and care are we going to give them? It is a real question that I haven't heard met.

The Afghan National Army aren't even fucking relevant right now. ISAF forces aren't partnering with ANA for missions within the country right now.

That doesn't even make sense. You can't start shit in Pakistan and not have a foothold in Afghanistan.

And those motherfuckers aren't "moving in the right direction" any time soon.

I hate that the moderator never nails them on his questions. He was asking about what would happen if they aren't ready.

Apparently Romney is 100% sure that they'll be ready 2014

Full horses/bayonets/carriers/battleships fatality:

You mentioned the Navy, for example — that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military’s changed. We have these things called aircraft carriers, where planes land… we have ships that go underwater — nuclear submarines. And so the question is not a game of ‘Battleship,’ where we’re counting ships.
