Yeah I just watched the Circle of Doom trailer. Really bad trailer, but the game has some potential. It's a dungeon crawler action RPG running in the N3 engine. The trailer was really badly put together though. :/

No clue. The trailer didn't really tell me anything except the camera sucks and it's definitely the N3 engine. As far as combat goes, there's a guy using a crossbow to shoot enemies crawling all over a huge pole, and he also uses a sword on some other enemies. Looks like there are spells too, but that could just be another enemy! :lol

**** what have the done to KUF? this looks more like NNN2 instead of freaking KUF hell i think its even borrowing textures if you look at the armor. Disapointment total

Blue Side is under Phantagram. They made KUF Heroes. This is something along the same lines.

Oh that note I just watched the Fusion Frenzy 2 trailer. Not bad, at least this one felt like a good trailer! 4 player minigameathon in HD by Hudson, could be good!

I expect the bulk of the content to go up at X06. I'm surprised we're getting Kingdom Under Fire, Fuzion Frenzy 2, Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 at this point. I have not seen anything on those yet, so I'm happy.
 
You know, I was thinking that Fuzion Frenzy 2 looked just like Bomberman on the 360. Then the Hudson logo showed up at the end. :lol :lol :lol

I want Blue Dragon and Lost Planet trailers up there, stat.

Also, I noticed that's from the Japanese site, and only lists the content that was for Japan. The 20th and 21st had the Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 trailers, both of which are missing from that list. So I think it could have more on the upcoming days as well.

BUT! X06 is next week and I've always expected MOST of the content to come from there.

Funny you should mention that, because they're both on JP Live too...... just not mentioned on the list! Weird. :D
 
I really can't understand why they would not release HD footage of their jRPGs Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Trusty Bell on marketplace....I mean, that just does not compute. Off-screen, low res footage does games such an injustice....It makes me want to cry. :(

Yeah, this shit boggles the mind, also i need the new LP trailer up there. I thought i read somewhere most of the major content is gonna be put up at the end of X06 though, so I'm not too dissappointed yet.

PS: that KUF trailer is total shit.

Hey Japanese people! Xbox rocks! Support the cause! We're gonna bring it home! And we got these awesome new RPGS for you! And we have hot new trailers for them that we're showing to the media! Oh, but you don't get to see them...Oh and you don't get demos of them...Oh and ummm, here's an E3 trailer of DOAX2..it's got BOOBS! BE HAPPY! BUY XBOX!

This is basically equivalent to MS spitting on the face of the Japanese otaku who are buying their system and supporting them in Japan. They get Fusion Frenzy! Whereas Sony is like MGS4!!! DMC3!!! VF5!!! RPGS!!!

I thought the whole point of firing the guy in charge of MS Japan was that the new guy was smarter than a monkey and would make intelligent decisions? Guess not!

you do know that Sensui-san was formerly in charge of building relationships with developers right? i.e. as far as I know he had a role securing current support from the Japanese developers.
 
I would rather wait until X06 to get MS info anyway... the rest of this week is going to be flooded with PS3 stuff, so waiting a week isn't going to kill me...

It is a bit amazing how incompetent they are concerning anything Japan. Trusty Bell, Blue Dragon, LO, and a new DOAX2 trailer should have been on there as soon as the conference began, just how it was for us at E3. A LO and Blue Dragon demo would have been great as well, but I can understand that at least. Project Sylpheed is coming out pretty soon as well, and they should be pimping that out. I guess there is still time to get it together before the conference is over, but if they are waiting to X06 when Japan is no longer paying attention to get this stuff out there, that is a mistake.

I hope X06 blows the doors open. My heart can't receive another NG-size-ton or I'll steal MrBob's flipflops and camp out for a PS3.

1. NGB is one of my top 5 favorite games of all time.
2. A Halo 3 mega trailer would satisfy my hunger.

Exactly. This is Sony's show. Nintendo held theirs last week, TGS is Sony, X06 is Microsoft. And by Microsoft, I mean Gears of War. :p

But the Japanese don't care about X06. The time to sell them on the system is now. MS has the games! They are just hiding them from the public while the public gets hyped on PS3 & Wii. Basically from an outside perspective it appears like MS is playing project Sabatoge themselves and trying to completely erase the X360's existence from Japan.

This was it, TGS was their last chance in Japan for a turn-around. By blowing this they're never going to have a chance to recover and I wouldn't be surprised if a result of this is 90% of Japanese development support dropped by the end of next year.

Well to be fair, all the games WILL be at TGS, and they'll all be PLAYABLE. The problem people pissed off are those of us fed the bullshit empty promise of BRINGING IT HOME. Sony doesn't even have something like Live Marketplace yet so that point is moot. I think MS will make an impact in Japan at TGS, however small. But I'm just ****ing pissed about how they're just bringing all the SHIT home. :(

Exactly. It's quite mindblowing that at least videos for Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey aren't up on the Marketplace considering how fantastic they look.

I'm hoping for confirmation both are coming to the US. I just hope they at least talk about them. I'd like X06 to go like this:

1) Hardware stuff (HD-DVD,, 1080p, etc) Big news: Holiday bundle
2) XBox Live: stats, blah blah. Some new titles, including that "new franchise"
3) Holiday: Dates for Viva Pinata, Crackdown, Fuzion Frenzy 2, etc.
4) 2007 preview: Forza 2 release date, the Mistwalker RPGs, Bioshock, RE5, Lost Planet, etc. End with another sneak peek at Halo 3. Which hits Live an hour before they show it, of course. :p

Oh, I agree there. I think Japan is an utter lost cause for the 360, though Microsoft sure isn't doing themselves any favors on the execution and marketing fronts.
