Speaking of code expirations: is there an expiration date on the PS+ codes we get from Amazon for this? I won't be activating mine until next month, so I assume that even if they have a date, that I'll be fine.

The ones given away with this deal apparently don't have expiration dates (either that or I'm too blind and can't notice them on the mail)
The ones I got a couple of months ago for purchasing Uncharted 3, GoW Origins and Sly Collection did come with expiration dates.

I've never had a credit card on PSN and I've had PSN+ for 2 years now, unless this is something in the last couple of months that changed it shouldn't no.

My one gripe about the OS: I hate the bubbles. They take up way too much space. It's like I'm playing with one of my nephews Fischer Price toys. Maybe if the bubbles were folders and opened up a standard list I wouldn't mind so much

I was really impressed at how you can pretty much jump out of a game at any moment and do other stuff then jump back in. No audio skipping either

This is one of the best features of the Vita. Sony using that 256MB of RAM for the OS very impressively.

Just redeemed the code and am downloading it now. 3 files, yep. One appears to have been a pass, and it completed fine. It's working on the big file now. Not sure what the file with the downarrow next to it is going to download.

Also downloaded Zen Pinball 2. I owned Zen Pinball on my PS3 years ago and also received Marvel Pinball for free in PS+. The game recognized that and let me download all those tables and the game for no charge. So much better than the 3DS version. So clear and 60 FPS. Awesome.

I've been trying to backup my Golden Abyss save and I've been getting this error message "Could not copy some content items. (NP-2116-0)" and sometimes the error code reads (NP-2143-0). Tried rebooting the system several times to no avail.

Ya, the Super Sony Style Smash game wasn't even a part of my purchase decision, it's a nice little bonus and a great way to show off the hardware and it's capabilities though. Crossplay online with PS3 players is pretty dope.

I downloaded PSAS. Mortal Kombat single player is the extend of my fighting game enjoyment. So far I'm enjoying PSAS. Solid framerate and I recognize a lot of the fighters. I'm glad I kept it. I'm now attempting to dump AC3 Liberation though. I do not like it.

You need to activate codes with CC

I already did it for someone is the PS+ bonanza for EU codes

Yeah, this is some bullshit newish innovation. FedEx (or UPS) handle all the logistics, and then drop it off at the local post office for final delivery. Added an extra day in my case, as if FedEx had just delivered the thing it would have been here today. So whatever you usual post man does, but signature is almost never required by Amazon. I think I had to sign for my ps3 back in the day, and that is pretty much it.

You definitely need UMvC3. Looks absolutely STUNNING on Vita. The game is tons of fun, too. Im not a big fighting game fan, but I love this game on Vita, which is my first experience with the game.

My launch unit had them all over, and now there's one small sliver left. Nearly 100% gone.

The OS is nice and capable but a learning curve to it.

Looks like a nice mix of subjects and games. I only did the 1 day of training intro. But going for production value is not always wise. A lot of the dialog is punched up. The navigation is a whirlwind.

And this bothers me.

The words and numbers rendered in 3D like than just messes with you trying to see the thing before figuring the missing part.

Doing the easy thing is usually better with this sort of game.


PSone classics. The one I know I wanted was Twisted Metal II.
Looks better than ever.
I couldn't figure out how to customize the screen or controls so I had to learn on the go.
Game is still super fun. Character of the cars and levels jumps off the screen. Music and Sound rocks.
Why can't we get Twisted Metal 1. Rooftop level is awesome just driving around.

You want a microfiber cloth. And it should be dry. Don't use lens cleaner on your Vita!

Also, after you've had one awhile, make sure there's no lingering dust on the cloth, or the next time you wipe off your Vita, any dust could scratch the screen.
