Yes, I pay for things I enjoy, if it is a niche RPG title that takes a lot of localization work and I think it is fairly priced, even slightly over priced, I would more than likely pay for it.

Goes for other things I personally enjoy, and yea for any Tales Game I would splurge easily 65-70, a double markup may be asking too much for me personally though.

As for the Vita game pricing, I think we're already kind of experiencing that. New Little King's Story is a title that I felt is $40 simply because Konami knows the userbase is small and wanted to make the localization work for them. This doubly goes for DJ Max Technika Tune, which is $50. DJ Max has an incredibly small but devoted fanbase and the up charge makes sense given the platform's userbase.

i'd be quite torn honestly. I think at the very least if I was going to pay $60 plus for a vita game it would at least need to be a token collectors version with an art book and soundtrack.

It depends on the game in question. For example as much as I like say Yakuza, I wouldn't pay a lot extra for a localised copy if there wasn't gonna be one. And depends on the game I'd be replacing. I wouldn't give up say a Metal Gear, Zelda or Gran Turismo

But I'd willingly sacrifice the likes of a single game from all three of Assassins Creed, Halo and Mario combined for even one of the games like Type-0, Tales, Valkyria Chronicles or Bravery Default

Thats not what makes it a hateable mega thread. The problem is with news being buried inside those megathreads. Takao especially does a GREAT job at filtering the news and give them its own thread.
