Velasquez is losing. Again.

I called it last time. I'm calling it again. Unless he's done a lot of work on his footwork, he's going to eat a power punch just as he did in the first fight (and as he did multiple times against Congo). It's going to put him in trouble and Junior will finish him.

Hopefully he gets to put on a better showing this time, because I bear him no ill will... but thems the breaks.

Alan Belcher is going to win by raw stupidity again, as he almost always does. That guy is too dumb to lose. <3 Alan.
 
This is what happens when you get all your MMA news from MMA-GAF. I didn't even notice Makler on the poster; my brain just translated it without thinking.
 
Smaller weight classes have to either be fighting for 3 titles or fighting on home turf on Fuel cards to make the main card sadly.
 
Not crazy about this card. Seems like a watered down Fox card. Some decent scraps but nothing special. Hopefully we can see Lebman get his ass kicked.

Come to think of it, Lebman is the perfect fighter to be on a Fox card.

a healthy Cain almost got knocked out by Kongo twice, I think a *healthy* Dos Santos has got this, or are we ignoring that he wasn't 100% in the first fight too?
 
Pretty solid main card, and what I think is a kick ass prelim card. Should be a good show... which means it will be a stinker.
 
I loved the Young Melvin moment where he was like, :no way will Varner ever get the opportunity to fight me again." But Dana said you will fight him at 155. "That's great! I look forward to fighting him."
 
I can't believe Guillard vs Varner isn't on the main card when Leben vs Random Schmuck is. I can't help but feel sorry for Melvin on this one. He even made weight for the originally scheduled fight. Which is impressive for Melvin and impressive for a 'Blackzillian'.
 
I see a Brazilian flag behind Cigano. That's understandable, he was born in Brazil, lives in Brazil and speaks Brazilian Portuguese fluently.

Also, there's a Mexican flag behind Can Velasquez. Why's that?

I agree with this. JDS is probably one of the best heavy wieghts I've seen, nothing against Cain, its just JDS is such a better striker than most.
 
LOL at the flags waving in the background. UFC is really trying to push this as a major global sports event again, like soccer, where crowds will be chanting either Brasil! or Mexico! They did this in the first match too, but it made some sense back then because it was on Fox, and what better way to garner broad fan support than exploiting national pride? Mexico especially, man you know Zuffa was salivating at the prospect of getting Mexicans interested in mma like they are with boxing. But Cain fucked all of that up! You never heard chants go from "Mexico!" to "Boo" so quickly as you did when he got dropped.
