Is there a site that details all the Comic industry screw ups? I always hear how badly it's run, but I don't know how or why. Why is Gail Simone announced as the new Batgirl writer? Someone didn't know she was already writing it? Was she removed from doing the book then put back in for some reason? What happened exactly?

afaik Simone butted heads with her new editor on the book and was, essentially, fired despite having several arcs planned after Death of the Family. What happened? Looks like the brass at DC decided that the backlash wasn't worth it and put her back on the book.

Scarlet has fed you Stegman, and Superior offers more of that delicious line art meal. However, unlike the zesty fun garnish to be found sprinkled on any given Scarlet Spider issue, any number of Superior issues may have a hidden powerful laxative within those supposed eye nutrients. Is it worth it? That meal, so delightful to look at, but you know you're going to be shitting your dick off all night long because something unforgivably awful was lurking inside its rotten core.

The Superior Spider-Man is Kaine anyway, because he does not. give. a. shit.

Kaines own interpretation of "Great Responsibility" was particularly enjoyable in 12.1.
 
the more i read aaron inc. hulk the more i dislike it. Main gripe is i just don't like the tone of the book, it's nagging and annoying. Banner in this book is a pathetic jerk and without any humor or better plotting, that's waht the book feels like, a jerk book.

I find the book insipid and boring. I'm sure her editor did too and shitcanned her. DC backed down and rehired her because she's like the only person with a vagina within a hundred miles of any part of their operation.

Batgirl sells well and is far from DC's worst book. I think the only problem with the book is that Gail has been writing Babs for too long without a break from the character. It's not bad, but it's not amazing either.
 
I think Batgirl started off really slow with the random villains, but it's found it's footing by Issue 10 with that Knightfall villain and she has the best Joker side story going on right now. Also, James Jr. has returned, and I love me some Cain and Abel.
 
Current babs sucks, although I liked the bit of toughness in Death of the Family.

Birds of Prey/Oracle Babs was prime. Bring her back with her goddamn legs you ratfukkers1!1

And on the Batgirl tip. They did something stupid, got backlash, then decided to listen to the fan base. This is a good thing.

I actually went and ordered the TPB's of Skullkickers that are out, and yes, that is a awesome series. I especially liked the
PROPERTY DEPRECIATION!!!

Batgirl isn't bad, but it isn't anything inspiring either. Batwoman and WW are stronger female led books in the current line up.
