I've come to the decision that, with the exception of the final GotY debate podcast, I'm probably going to skip over all the other podcasts this year. Unless I see an award they gave and think "Wha?? I have to know how they came to that conclusion!", that is. Otherwise I just don't have the interest this year for some reason.

That being said, the Daily Recap videos have been fuckin' rad.

Also it looks like there is no way Brad's choice will be GOTY this year since Mass Effect 3 hasn't appeared on anyone else's list and Jeff, Ryan and Patrick have significant issues with it.

It's definitely not gonna happen, Brad acknowledges his love of ME3 (as stupid as I think it is) is a perfect storm. The game is shit for far too many people to be recognized as GotY for Giantbomb collectively.

I think the #1 spot is pretty open. From the discussion yesterday it seems they are aware of the problems with Walking Dead, and Jeff doesn't seem to have been compelled to finish it. They all seem to be fans of Far Cry 3 and X-Com though despite their problems, which some should consider smaller.
Those are most likely the top 3, and right now I think X-Com could come out on top but wouldn't be surprised by the other 2.

I love the variety in his list and the way that he stuck with the games that he talked up earlier this year, though. Seeing Rhythm Heaven Fever, Forza Horizon and Syndicate on there showed me that he doesn't forget about the games that he loves even if few other people are talking about them at this time of the year.

Well he did play some Red Dead as well. I felt the same way he did after episode 1. I really think you have no idea if you'll like Walking Dead if you don't get past the second episode. Maybe even the third. Don't know if that should be asked of everyone though. That's about 8 hours of gameplay.

Jeff's list is the best. It has the most personality. I feel bad that it sounds like he's getting completely locked out in every discussion.

Drew's was best in this regard before this. I would roll my eyes at most other people with Halo 4 as their #1, but it's Drew, so of course it's Halo 4.

Unless Vinny mentiones Fallen Enchantress, Drox Operative or Crusader Kings 2 (not a chance in hell) I think Jeff's list will be king. Vinny will definitely have Walking Dead in there which ruins it for me.
