They didn't have any when I checked last week either, but I went back yesterday and they had it so obviously survives a restock. They had a couple of display cases, but it was a sealed copy from behind the counter so I don't know how much stock they had overall.

Wasn't sure where to ask, but what's the best way to get Xbox Live Points? I've done a quick look around, but there doesn't seem to be anything cheaper than just buying them directly off XBL.

Huh, massive collection to trade in £75 while Bully looks to be going for £50 on it own. Together I'm expecting £125ish.
Getting ready for next gen before prices completely plummet.

Amazon is the best for trades right?
 
Depends on what you're trading for. I had a quick look at CeX and GAME (before both sites decided to stop finding values at random) and for the few I checked it seemed the Amazon offer was best if it was just cash (e.g. Crackdown 2 is £4 credit at either of the two mentioned). Though those are "up to" while the others will always give that amount, pretty much.

Just be careful as its a third party on behalf of Amazon who have managed to lose packages in the past and even refuse goods for no real reason. (note: I've not used Amazon, I'm just going by what others have had happen to them)
 
Has anybody tried to trade in the PS3 version of PSABR? Trying the HMV/replay app and it doesn't find it (search or barcode) so I wondered if it was a problem because of the cross play? Was just going to download it to my Vita and trade the PS3 version, although it's not a problem if I can't.

I've recently started using Amazon for trade-ins and have encountered no problems so far. The only things I would say is it makes sense to choose the option where they send the games back if they don't agree with your condition rating (they return them at their cost so it's an extra incentive for them to agree with you and I presume they would downgrade everything if you let them decide) and the prices for tradein seem very volatile and often don't relate to real world value (Lego LOTR would have got you £3 trade in when it was still brand new and cost £30+, whereas when it went down in price just before Christmas the trade-in price went up to about £15).

Bully 360 looks like it is at £16 now, was it really at £50?

I've traded in a bunch of stuff to Amazon and they have quite frequently upgraded the rating of my items and given me the higher price.

You can still get the free eshop game too right?* 2 games (mario kart or mario 3d land or layton) which are currently at around £30 individually means you effectively get the console for...£82? If you want the games at least.

But be sure to note that's the deadline to registering the 3DS XL to Club Nintendo.

God damn it, I didn't think anything was going to top the £169.99 version of that deal for a while, so I took the plunge a couple of weeks ago. Ah well, highly recommended to everyone else!

Darn it! Just as I was making it clear to myself that I wouldn't need a XL as I own the regular 3DS. But the larger screens, gah!

If there are still some remaining tomorrow morning, I might as well take the dip.
 
So anyone knows where can I buy Atelier Meruru for cheap? The game came out a year ago and it's still 45€ at most sites...damn those niche games, they may bomb sales-wise, but not price-wise.

Afraid you're going to show a little more patience. The other PS3 Atelier games are down to £20-25ish (or less) nowadays, if that's any consolation.
 
Ordered from playtrade, got sent out on 10.12, but it still hasn't shown up.

Does anyone in here know, how long you are allowed to complain about this for shipments to Europe (not UK)? I don't want to do it now, because I think it may arrive shortly. But I definitely know that play.com blocks out the "haven't received" option after some time, but I don't know exactly when they will do so.

Can't you start another "I'm worried about my package" procedure without going the "haven't received" way immediately. That way there's an ongoing procedure that you can interrupt as soon as the package shows up after all. And you wouldn't be too late to report it.
 
I think the Mario Kart 7 3DS XL deal is over, back to 169.99. The 3D Land deal is still available.

The red 3DS XL is 127.49, which is also good.
 
Well, jumped on the 3D Land deal.

Just a small question: I pressume that I can use the same charger as my old 3DS? Meaning that I won't have to get an adaptor of some sort just because the console is coming from UK.

Nope. The only option is:
"This 'Missing Item Notification' will be sent to the PlayTrade seller and you should expect to receive a reply via email from them within the next 3 working days."

I will probably just do that in 3 days. Then 31 days have passed. For feedback, it says I got 28 days left to enter. But I definitely know that play.com blocks "missing item" after some time and it's definitely not 2 months. I had ordered something before, it didn't show up and I waited too long and wasn't able to report it anymore.

Correct. DSi/3DS charger is the same fitment as the XL.

You could contact them at customercare@play.com. Ask them what the deadline is and already mention that you are getting a little worried about your order (with order number xxxx). If they remove the "missing item" button afterwards, you can refer to the email you sent them, and that you did try to report it within their timeframe.

Try Play's twitter. The two times I've asked them about orders over that they've asked me to DM details then got in contact quickly via email to try and sort the issues out.

Just report that the item hasn't arrived.
Most people on eBay report missing item after 3 weeks just to be on the safe side. Don't risk it.
