that explains the big sound shift & general dropoff in quality & hits in their beats from 07-now. granted i imagine a lot of the 06 output had already been done in 05 and was waiting in the pipeline.

Kenna's album (Make Sure...) was pretty good but that was largely Chad.

and the despicable me soundtrack is really good

and we got two NERD albums that was much worse than the first two but still had some good songs and some good instrumentals (inside of clouds, spaz, party people, life as a fish)

edit 2 - wow a lot of the best songs on the NERD albums were the few songs that actually had chad on them. pharrell really does kinda suck lol

Really hope he moves away from Timbo though really. Let some new cats like TNGHT or Toro Y Moi get on. Future Sex was obviously the better album but I've always considered his earlier singles with prime Neptunes to be his best material.
