I think the sun came out once in the UK. Many years ago. It is but a distant memory to me now. Maybe it was a dream?

I've never had sunburn in my life. My skin doesn't burn, it just gets darker. I kind of wish I got sunburn just to know what it is like.

Have you ever accidentally put your hand onto a hot surface and had to run it under water to stop the pain? Well imagine that all over your back, arms, nose and legs for about 3 days.

No you don't. Believe me

And so are most Latin Americans.
Yup. I'd be hardly called hispanic, what with the polish/russian roots.

I like that better, though. White's as boring as it gets.

Ouch! Yeah, I think my desire to experience sunburn has somewhat diminished. :p

I feel sorry for you now.

Yeah... with a scratchy shirt.. ugh.

Don't forget the tightness of the skin. Where it feels like your skin is so dry that it is all tight, so even moving hurts.

Oh yeah, especially lovely when you have been snorkling and the insides of your knees have been burnt.

I remember being on Lombok. I couldn't even walk normally anymore. I needed to wear a sarong (so metro!) and actually had a fever because of the sunburn/

I haven't been outside without a shirt on in, literally, 6 years, I also never wear shorts unless I have no choice (like swimming). My forearms and face are tanned closed to brown but my chest could blind a Polar Bear for real.

I thought because this was the case, I would be fine in the Chinese sun. Heatstroke is no joke.

Well when i get tanned i become orange like the thing from the fantastic four is awful, well at least if gaijin ganguros become a trend somewhere in the world i can earn some money.

I tan really easily and am pretty tanned year round. I got really dark as a kid and my hair would go blond in the sun.

People have a heard time guessing my ethnicity when I'm tanned.
Or maybe they know more than I do. Damn postmen.

I'm pale to the point that other people constantly feel the need to point it out to me, as if I hadn't noticed.

What if you woke up that way this morning and hadn't even looked in the mirror since you're also so dishevelled. It's pretty common, so makes sense to point out.

Last girl I dated told me I should go out into the sun more. She was trying to tan herself, since she was quite pale despite being half Greek, half Spanish. I always assumed that darker skin would be easy to achieve with that heritage.

Has anyone found the optimal way to browse GAF? I just look through the first page and see If there are any cool threads (I never go to the second page or beyond) and have a couple of subscribed threads. But sometimes I suddenly see a thread that's insane and that I completely missed even though it was started the same day and was full of activity. I need to train my thread spotting abilities.

1. 50 Post Per Page.
2. Look for threads that interest me on front pages.
3. Look for threads that look like they're going to be disasters so I can swoop down and ban as necessary.

I am the palest man. Probably because I'm wearing a jumper 90% of the time.

I don't like having my arms uncovered :C

In fact, I'm so pale, you can actually see the veins in my shoulder pretty clearly. It's weird.

I too am pale, burn quite easily as well. Really sucks. I just try and stay out of sunlight for long periods really.

When I was young my parents would always try and get me more tanned when on holidays, hated it. Can't abide sunbathing, the whole process of putting on sunscreen is a pain in the arse and I find reading whilst sitting under a hot sun to also be unbearable, more difficult to read and constantly sweating.

Well, yeah.
It's the default isn't it?

The way the weather is these days, it's a wonder people aren't so pale they have become transparent. Perhaps in another thousand years people will end up looking like some kind of deep sea fish. You probably won't need your lights on then because people will glow in the dark.

Whew. I thank the gods for melanin.

It wasn't just his motive for me. It was just weird that this film was as long as Fellowship and yet there was only a percentile of character development in this film. All the characters in those movies got their moments. In here...I only got like 2 dwarves saying anything substantial and even Bilbo felt half-baked.

plus this scene has set such a high bar. Still moves me :(
Looks like I'll be watching one of the LotR movies tonight. Them feels.

Half Chinese/half Cambodian here. Mutts represent!

I have a breakfast burrito. It has chorizo, egg, cheese and potatoes in it. I'm slathering it in hot sauce. It is sublime.

Token food shot sans instagram filter...

Late for the conversation, but since I moved away from home I feel I've become incredibly pale. I'm still darker than my completely white husband, but no where near as dark as I am used to being.

My neck and back ache. I have no idea what the fuck is causing this problem I have at work. I am tired.

Graaagh.

You were just raving about a band you cant get enough of a couple of days ago. I'm going to venture and say the neck and back troubles are from throwing your head about in fantastic motions along with the beat.

That was yesterday >_>

And nah, I play guitar...enthusiastically often enough that that's not so much of a problem for my neck anymore. This just tends to happen when my mind has melted from code making no sense >_>

I haven't had that happen since high school, thank goodness. I remember in middle school people had shamed me so much I once tried using fake tan spray. Never again.

But freckles are cute!

I wish I had more. I just burn!

I love freckles. Better than what I get. *grass is greener*

Omg my boooook downloaded :D

Don't ask, it's a teen book, BUT I'M EXCITED TO READ TONIGHT.

Teen books are cool. :o Tell us what it is.

Dave, you should make any part where they are interacting with me into an adventure game (no battles, only puzzles.)

I made a bit of an adventure game with RPGTsukuuru on PS1. That was fun. :o The only battle that was there wasn't really much of one. It was impossible to lose.

Eating while your nose is completely stuffed, not the business. Feel like I'm just shoving weird crunchy ooze into my mouth with no taste at all.

Mouthbreaking is also not the business. I feel like a fucking caveman, going to start dragging my knuckles on the ground and trying to communicate with my dogs with various grunts and yells.

Don't keep us hanging like that!

Did you already mess around with RPGMaker?

I did! Its surprisingly easy to navigate. I'm really excited to get really deep with it.

thats a really good idea. I was actually wondering how I'd incorporate a scholar. I wish I could have puzzles give the adventurers new skills, but it appears you can only assign skills through leveling up.
