Nights is such a great game, but I always try not to play Sega games on playstation brand consoles, don't ask my why but since Sonic Heroes I find the control worst than their counterpart on GC/Xbox/360... maybe it's just me.

I'm not sure, because I haven't checked the description, but I take it that that's the HSG1 & 2 for PSP. If so, great games. Bought the first one on disc, then rebought on PSN, then bought the second on PSN. Probably put well over 150 hours into them, collectively, and I never played online. (I'm a recluse single-player gamer.)

It's the PS3 HSG game, plus all the DLC. Open Tee is the PSP series.
 
Awesome, just sold my retail copy for 30€ as it wasn't available here.

So now I can fill my US account with paypal and get it for 10€ incl. extra content!?
 
Signed up for +Plus yesterday on a whim. That sale looks good. I'll definitely be grabbing Machinarium (which I was planning to get on iOS at some point), and Unfinished Swan. Judging by some reviews, Warp looks pretty interesting as well. Anyone got any impressions?
 
I wonder if the US will get the awesome FF sale or if we'll just be stuck with the current sale. No Vita stuff is pretty disappointing and only the first games of the HD trilogy sucks too. Also foosball...
 
Oh well. I enjoyed HSG:OOB on PS3 too ... just not as much as portable HSG. :)

This version of HSG PS3 better have a better patching system. Oy.
 
Wow, that sale is crazy good for me. LBP Karting for $10? damn man, that's bomba, but now it's at price range where I can consider about grabbing it. Does anyone know how big the game is and how are the loading times?

I was also expecting The Unfinished Swan to be on sale soon with a sale price of $7.50, but at $3.75? Aw yeah man, and they also have Psychonauts for $2.50? Nice.
Even glad I didn't impulse buy Jet set Radio & Nights when they we're on sale for $5. Now the only thing that's missing is Stranger's Wrath and that S.O.E. Sale that was mistakenly put up on the PSBlog a while back. Hope we still get those discounts.

edit - lol at foosball but at least the sale makes it up for me.
 
Another great update for me. I was thinking about getting Foosball but thought against it so many times and now it's free. I'm content. If this psn sale didn't happen this week (INSANE prices for plus...I'm going to get so many games) I probably wouldn't be though.

I just wish Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune would've been part of this deal/free for plus sometime soon. :(

I think that's what I'll get this week then. I was already planning on picking up the Vita game eventually, but I guess I'll use this opportunity to finally give the series a whirl.
 
So, the PS3 HSG demo is still up. Playing it now. Yep, I'm sold. This is so much fun, even though I kinda suck (especially when trying to use the Advanced Shot input method :lol).
 
I know the Vita hasn't been out for anywhere near as long as the PS3, but do they really have to scrape the bottom of the barrel every time they give us a free game? The initial selection was pretty good, but since then...ugh. Couldn't they throw us an interesting PSP game once in a while?

I did the exact same thing. Man, I wish they had patched trophy support though. I'd buy it at full price if they did. Now I'm not sure I need anymore Hot Shots, between my dozens of hours with this demo and the Vita game (which I'm actually not that hot on).

It has not aged well from a gameplay standpoint. Depending on your personal tastes, you might enjoy it just because it has such a great style and soundtrack, but the wonky jumping and stuff will probably do nothing for you if you don't have any nostalgia for it.

Plus, some people (including me) experience really bad hanging whenever anything pops up on the radio. The action stops for a moment and it completely destroys your timing.
 
Wish the US would have gotten the FF sale. Really want to pick up 7 and 9 for vita.

Hope there are more sales like this in the future though. Ill probably grab little big planet

It supports using two Move controllers in single player (one for each hand) and that's the best way to play it. You shouldn't even bother with this game when you don't have Move. The Vita version really is crap.
 
I decided to wait and see what the Plus games were this week before resubscribing... if not for the awesome 13 sale Sony would have been waiting a while for my money lol. Surely there can't have been much demand for Foosball.
 
Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter and Nights HD remixes for me, trying to decide between Machinarium or Warp, no demo for Machinarium. Already have Unfinished Swan, but not even upset about it probably is the best deal on that list.

US only, sadly. I'm in the UK and I'd definitely pick up LBP Karting and Unfinished Swan at those prices, but nope :(

It'll be a full game trial I imagine. It showed up as "free" for me last week, said it was the full game. I downloaded it, and it has the full game trial timer on it.
 
So ok. I have $30 on ma PSN and I'm tossing up between (vita) edf or silent hill.

What's the general consensus? Which is better value for the pennies?

Heh Sonic Adventure 2 plays really well for me on PS3, more so than Gamecube and Dreamcast.

Nights is available on PC/Steam and with a few mods will look gorgeous.

That EU list is...OK. Far Cry 2 for free huh? Might try it out.
Wonder if my brother is interested in Sonic Adventure 1...
 
That's an amazing price for hot shots golf, I have a sealed copy on my shelf but since it's rare I haven't opened it so I'll buy it asap on psn
Also might get Nights :D

I hope people get Jak 1, what an amazing game, but I wish Sony had put the trilogy on sale for less then $10 .
