The MegaTen x Fire Emblem announcement has me curious enough to make me want a Wii U. Pretty much the only thing I'm genuinely excited about regarding the announcement, and that's coming from someone who adores Wind Waker. :|

I'm only excited for like 3 games (Bioshock Infinite, Last of Us and Watchdogs). The vidoegame industry is becoming very unimaginative.

I don't know anyone that had any problems playing with a DualShock or Xbox controller.
But...
If you buy a new car, you expect to get a decent more efficient and powerful engine. Not an engine only as powerful as the competitors 7 Year old Car ...
If you buy a new car, you expect to get a new stylish design ... not the exact same seats and dashboard as the last 3 generations of cars, only with slightly cleaner materials.
If you buy a new car from a company that has been propped up by off-road enthusiasts and racers, you expect to get a fast and durable car ... not a family mini-van that can't race and can't go off road.

I'm not interested in many games these days, but the ones I am interested in are more than enough to occupy me. Sometimes I wish the average game was shorter. Even "short" games (6-10 hours) take longer to get through than several movies.

Looking at your list, it seems more like you played different rather than played more. I think you get a much better picture of modern gaming if you just stick with the smaller, more interesting titles and stay away from the AAA sequels.

What I'm trying to say is "new != good". Pokemon is a good game. Wind Waker is a good game. Why go and try to change it?
I actually get Nintendo's idea. Final Fantasy broke me of the "Flashy and new!" ideal. I'd much rather have something that I know works slightly tweaked. Than something brand new and flashy.
