According to that site she's 48 kg.
RIP fat Mayaka.

Congratulations
Speaking of this, why hasn't Thoraxes gifted Mitsuho with the true end yet? It's one of our finest traditions.
Well, he does make good movies, but honestly is he really the best? I'm not sure. But he had his utlity in making mangas acceptable in wetsern countries.
1 Spirited Away Studio Ghibli $274,925,095 2002
2 Howl's Moving Castle $235,184,110 2005
3 Ponyo $201,750,937 2009
4 Pokémon: The First Movie OLM $163,644,662 1998
5 Princess Mononoke Studio Ghibli $159,375,308 1997
6 The Secret World of Arrietty $145,570,827 2010
7 Pokémon: The Movie 2000 OLM $133,949,270 1999
8 Akira TMS Entertainment $80,000,000 1988
9 One Piece: Film Z Toei Animation $74,892,238 2012
10 Pokémon: Zoroark, Master of Illusions OLM $71,143,529 2010
That's pretty short. Azusa from K-ON! is taller than that.
Yeah, I went a little overboard. I could almost make a passable gif with some of the shots I took.Whoa that's a lot...
Yeah, it kinda does...This version works too, haha.
So I guess it really is down hill from here...Irisu shows up from time to time during the school festival. She's not really there afterwards though as the show focuses more on the main four or Chitanda and Oreki.
Along with Takahata he is,no one else comes close(except for maybe satoshi kon R.I.P),both of them are one very few directors that know how to make original movies imo, that I can stomach and not only that really enjoy.
But that's just me am not fan of anime movies in general and I learned the hard way that it's not safe experiment with dangerous stuff like that, Studio Ghibli is reliably studio.
Top 10 highest grossing anime films according to wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_animated_films
Kind of crazy that last year had 3 of the top 20 grossing anime films of all time.
Is it really, though? Last year had 4 of the top 20 grossing films of all time.
It seems that more and more people are going to the movies.
Nah it's all in dollars it's more to do with the rising yen(at the time) and maybe higher ticket prices imo.
It's always cute things with you isn't it?
Fine, it's in my backlog.
Holy aliasing, Batman! And are those train tracks in the background? What the hell?
Why are they hunting elves? Elves are friendly and docile and make yummy cookies.
We should be far enough into the season that most people have probably finished adding/dropping shows and by now have a complete schedule (with the exception of DokiDoki, but whatever).
How many shows are you all watching on a weekly basis? If you're participating in a backlog season and watching older shows weekly, count those too.
13 normal shows and 2 short shows here.
apple will save anime just like they'll save gaming
Episode 7, Jet Alone, is as close as it gets to be honest. There's little in that episode that's not covered anywhere else about Misato's life. Also, the entire first half of episode 14 is literally filler recap.
Nah, current consoleBy killing it?
Eh, not seeing it to be honest. Gonna have to rewatch it after I calm down.Eh but that's a Rtisuko episode baby! It's all about her, really. There's also some significant world building going because it teaches us thatGendo will go to any length to crush a rival in the field of defence, which really helps to flesh out the world.
Yeah, I guess inflation does have a big effect.
Hey, you are not the one discussing giant monster genitalia.Trust me, I've watched Evangelion more times than one would consider healthy!

Whenever I start to wonder why I'm watching Senyuu, the episode ends and I move on to the next one.
Future of anime.
The best part is that he's a lolicon knight voiced by Jouji Nakata of all people.
Oh god the memories, this was one of the first anime I bought on vhs. Try the english dub, the show's silliness fits perfectly with the over the top voice acting. Plus they cursed a lot which was awesome to my junior high mind.Yup.
Hey I just thought of a show newcomers should watch.
Those who hunt Elves.
Fuckin amazing.

Others are just plain boring. They even more paper-thin that Senran Kagura's characters which is an outstanding trait of sorts.
Well, theres a certain elf girl who does magic.
Something goes really wrong and she gets turned into an animal and to turn back she has to collect all the spell fragments that attached themselves to elf girls.
How? By joining up with a group of crazies and a sentient tank and stripping all the elf girls of course!
It's not just inflation. It's a semi-inaccurate list because Boxofficemojo lists everything in US dollars, which they convert from Japanese Yen based on the exchange rate at the time of release. The Yen has been climbing agsinst the USD for years, so some of those numbers aren't really supposed to be that high.
Here's one example of how the exchange rate totally misrepresents the rankings:
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/歴代映画興行成績
Howl's Moving Castle (2004) made 19.6 billion yen, Princess Mononoke (1997) made 19.3 billion yen, and Ponyo (2008) made 15.5 billion yen. Yet, because of the changing exchange rate, Box Office Mojo lists:
Howl's Moving Castle -$190,000,000 (2005)
Ponyo - $164,565,997 (2009)
Princess Mononoke - $157,000,000 (1997)
This is for the Japan only gross. As you can see, from 1997 to 2009, the Yen has gone from worth-less-than-USD to worth-more-than-Obamapaper. Lol.
Mamoru Oshii had a Nico talk titled Mamoru Oshii Pisses Off Half The World (no seriously that's the title) and he was asked, yet again, his thoughts on Hayao Miyazaki.

The following is a rough translation of the transcription of his talk. Oshii talks really weird and since this is an unedited transcript, there are alot of non sequiturs and jumping around. I'm using the yaraon summary of the talk versus the actual transcript because this one makes more sense and is on topic.
Wow. I guess lists like these are close to being worthless, then. It's impossible to judge those numbers correctly when the exchange rate fluctuates that much.
Oshii, once again, telling it like it is! I mean, he's probably talking a bit of rubbish as well and it's not exactly good conduct to openly critique another director but still I enjoy reading his thoughts.
No.Sorry to disapoint. But honestly, watching Diebuster was almost painful. The only character than has something that could be interest-rising is http://moe.animecharactersdatabase.com/images/Diebuster/Chiko.png
Others are just plain boring. They even more paper-thin that Senran Kagura's characters which is an outstanding trait of sorts.
Finally got a crunchyroll account.
Its actually really nice on an android tablet. I just wish the perspective on the menu would switch.

Be sure to enable mature content on the main site. Some shows don't appear in the satellite apps if you don't.
I just noticed that yesterday.
Also is the quality for android stuck at 480p?
There are so many series I'm surprised aren't on the site though like Chuunibyou.
Not sure about the video quality. Some stuff like Chuuni gets licensed by other sites whether it be Funimation or Anime Network.
Sooo, anime gaf, know of any good manga apps for ze Android?
.I've only used android but I love my Xoom. I think the Nexus 10.1 should be awesome for reading manga online. There are a few great apps on android. I keep a few handy. I love the aspect ratio for reading.
I use MangaWatcher alot.

There is also the Viz Manga app

and this is one of the only other stores for manga I've seen on android. I keep it installed to check to see if they add any stuff I might like to purchase but they seem to be targeting DTL more than me.
![]()
I'm hoping that more stores more more digital comic stores add more stuff too like comixology.
There are plenty of manga apps on the android market and plenty of comic reading apps.
But doesn't Funimation do more Dub stuff with their streaming?
Any good recommendations for what is on the site?
So far the only thing I have discovered and liked is The Pet Girl of Sakurasou.
