BTW anyone here got the Platinum for Red Faction: Guerrila? How's the PS3 ver., read that it crashes and has bugs/glitches, etc.
The first game is available for purchase on PSN, but isn't worth it since it would be outdated. i got bored playing through stage 1 of the original when I played it.
...but yeah this is in my Platinuming Backlog, will replay it later this year for the Platinum but I am gonna dread the long-ass stages ugh.

I own the GoW Saga. I don't care for the series. It doesn't hit me hard enough. I feel that the repetition of fighting off a hoard of monsters goes stale since it's me against the world. If it had multi player I might enjoy it. I enjoy the competition even if it was only local.

Ascension from the 30 minutes I've seen, looks outstanding

Easy Platinum which shouldn't take more than 7 hours to gather all of the trophies. The only trouble I had was flying the plane. Controls were smooth but I could barely navigate the plane.
I just can't relate to Kratos as a character but I love the character designs. He's like Jay-Z to me. I have all of his albums but none of them have hit the CD player more than once.
So it is about the same as God of War. Most God of War games should take less than 10 hours to get the Platinum.

Awesome. I know that GoW saga will hit my list this year but I'm working on Playstation All-Stars (11%) (PSVita), Sly 2 (31%), and Plants vs Zombies (98%) (PSVita).
Platinum #13: LA Noire + DLC
Was the second game I've ever bought for my PS3, so recently decided to wrap up the remaining trophies and DLC. For all the hate this game got, I feel like it has an amazing atmosphere, great characters, and a fantastic storyline, which treates mature themes with utmost respect. The ending was terrible, but everything beforehand was amazing.
DLC was also really fun (apart from Reefer Madness, which was mediocre). 'The Naked City' would have done well if it was included in the main game. This is the kind of DLC I want, devs - not random MP maps, but well-thought out single player content.

Platinumed Sleeping Dogs late last night. Damn what a great game! I literally got up off the couch to play the last couple of missions. Wei Shen motherfucker!
Anyway, I'm really hoping my Wizard's edition arrives tomorrow like it's supposed to so I can start Ni No Kuni. If not I'll probably finish off the last couple I need for PSASBR.

Ugh grinding for exp and reflexes in Wolverine is gonna take a while but once I get these 2 trophies I can start a new hard diff. playthrough and get my Platinum for the month XO.
Also Sly 4 is 16 so it'll prob. be fully dled+installed in 2 days for my PS3 =_=. Now I feel like giving SOny the middle finger for not making this a midnight release along with that Dead Space game.

I just ordered that after I found out that there is an ostrich gun, which was even added to the game because of GAF.

If the game runs fine for you without any crashes or trophy bugs...well I'll prob. get it if it goes on sale.
some very basic Sly 4 trophy tips.
- Make sure to view every map the first time you enter them. t sucks to go through the game looking for that one map you missed.
- Don´t bother collecting bottles before you have unlocked the third timezone. Collect all bottles there, that will make it MUCH easier.

I finally beat New Game+ in Black Knight Sword for 9/12 achievements and 250/400 gamerscore. I'm done and I'll move on now to either Jet Set Radio or Dust An Elysian Tale.
I liked the game. It was decent. I think I got 800 points worth of enjoyment out of it, but then again I didn't buy it (my brother did). I would never call it a great game, just a decent game. It has a top notch, absolutely beautiful presentation. The art style / graphics in this game are gorgeous. The game has fantastic 2-d visuals. The game play though is serviceable at best. It's a 2-d hack-n-slash game with some platforming. Decent, but I wouldn't suggest anyone blind buy it for 800 points.
The game is REALLY REALLY hard, so if any of you guys are gluttons for punishment, if any of you love stuff like Dark Souls for the difficulty alone, then you would probably enjoy the challenge in this game. It has old school Japanese arcade game play, difficult on the easy modes and brutally difficult on the harder modes.

If the "no used games" rumors are true my achievement/trophy hunting will be way down on the next consoles. I usually buy the bigger games I want to play but never buy new those easier (sometimes crappy) 100% games unless they are super cheap ($10 usually or a bogo) or I get them used/traded.
Speaking of buying games I bought Zombie Driver HD today. I was looking for the demo when I saw it was only $10 to buy so I got it. With that and Killzone HD on my HDD it'll be easier to switch between games when playing Black Ops (missions and babble), Battlefield 3 (hard playthrough and co-op), and Ni No Kuni.

Dediced to start Catherine instead. Likely won't get the Platinum for that anytime soon, but I've been itching to play that game since it came out!
