Does anyone know where to pick up James Bond 007 Legends for cheap? Cheapest so far is amazon at 23.99. Would have thought this would be bargain bin fodder by now.

Amazon have matched argos on kid icarus & re revalation at 18.99.

I know Blockbuster closing deals have probably been done but I just went into my local store and picked up a 12+1 month Live sub for £24.47.

I know the deals might vary by store but they had -

3DS XL Mario Kart bundle for just over £130

Star Wars Xbox 360 for £203

Xbox 360 4GB for just over £100

Worth visiting your local store if its one of the newly announced closures!

No sadly it's a right pain as I ended up going close to 10 miles out of my way to be confronted with a closed store which I thought would be still going due to being in a bigger area when the one right around the corner which serves no more than 100 homes was still alive and kicking. Deloitte do have a Blockbuster specific page up with contact details relating to their administrator but is mainly for creditors or press inquiries so I don't know if they'd give you a full list.

I agree, its weird as my local was always busy, seemed to do a good trade and had no immediate competitors. I shall lament its loss!

I've never ordered anything off GAME.co.uk before (Amazon or Zavvi for me) so how reliable are they and what are their delivery times like for new games?

I want to preorder Metal Gear Rising from them instead (cos of the Shinkawa steelbook) along with the Collector's Edition guide. With the voucher code further up in this thread, I can get the two combined for £47.98 which is damn good.

So if I followed through with this, are they reliable with delivery so I get it on release (or even before)?

They're more reliable than the two you said if you live within the UK, as their delivery tends to be first class, if you are lucky you may get the game before release. If not on the day or after release. Only problem is their cost, cept for the guidebooks they aren't really cheaper than anywhere else.

Yeah I haven't shopped at GAME for years because of their ludicrous prices. However, for £48, I'm able to bag Rising, the exclusive (and awesome looking) Shinkawa artwork steelbook and the Collector's Edition guide. On Amazon, it would cost me nearly £55 for the game and guide so a drop in £7 plus a free steelbook swung it in GAME's favour for the first time in their life. :lol

Before I forget:

Where's the cheapest to get Naruto Shippuden Ninja Storm 3 from in UK? Regular Edition and Special edition BTW. EDIT: ...and preferably not from Zavvi or thehut please.
Thanks in advance.

Blah should've stated I don't want from Zavvi or the hut, sorry gonna update my post ^_^;
...and it only just recently occured me to ask for a cheap price on NS3 since its release is coming up and I don't want my dumb brother to buy it for whatever full price he finds on Game, etc.

To be honest, the only thing holding game back is they tend to cost more. If the price is the same or better, I think I would always go with game, as they are really good in terms of delivery, though I suspect that they have an agreement with the post office to prevent goods turning up early (before release dates) starting within the last few years at some point.

I would always go with GAME if the price was equal to other online stores.

How do these free steelbooks work exactly? Do they take the place of the regular box or are these on top of them? Do they also come with the plastic slip case that most other steelbooks come with?

NICE yes I do but I already own batman 2 and harry potter I could not really care for :(
Will check out the sale anyway thanks :)

Also Keyser cheapest for the xbox 360 is around 24 I could find.
Or can I get it cheaper somewhere?

I think that is the cheapest now, but Amazon did go to £20 a few weeks back though... so you are not buying at the best price.

With some new titiles hitting stores in the next few weeks, I feel someone should break £20 again soon.

Darksiders 2 (Wii U) - £14.98 @ Zavvi
Almost at biting point but I think I could keep going with Mario U, NintendoLand, Trine 2 and Balloon for a while more and wait for this to drop below a tenner.

Thought ZombiU would have fallen below £20 by now. Even then, having tried the demo I'm not sure I have the courage to play through it!

Oh, and in case anyone sees such a price anywhere, I've been waiting for Kid Icarus to drop to £15.

Before contacting CS, I thought I'll ask you guys.

Today I picked up ZoE HD from the mail, but to my suprise I got a 360 copy, instead of the PS3 one I ordered.
My question - If I'll contact them and ask for a replacment, I figure they'll ask me to send the 360 copy back. But will they refund me the postage costs from your experience?

Doesn't work outside of the UK though, so if you are, mention it in your query. They'll refund you the shipping cost.

Not a gaming deal, but may interest people who are literate...

The Book Depository are having a day-long sale on 21st Feb. 100 books on sale over 25 hours. One every 15 minutes.

Maybe they will have Hyrule Historia.

Could someone kindly link me the special edition metal gear rising? I cant seem to find it on my phone and work pcs blocks anything contains the word game.
