PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

I don't get that? Is there a better explanation for this method and hooking paypal up to your EU account? I've never used paypal before.
Go create a PayPal account.
Go to the SEN website and log into your EU PSN account and select PayPal as your option to add funds.
Select the amount of funds you want to add and they'll send you to PayPal to log into your account there and add the funds from your credit card.
Now that the money is in your EU account wallet you can spend it however you like from either the webstore, PS3 store or Vita store.

My god, Vanquish is amazing. Love it so much. Thank you, PS+!

Now give me Sleeping Dogs next week. :-P

Yeah it was pretty good. I finished it at exactly 5 hours and 1 second but it was the longest 5 hours of my life since everything was moving so blazing fast that entire time. I was about to say it's the first platinum game I ever liked at all but I remembered Mikami was behind it, so that's probably why :P

So you can top up EU PSN with US paypal? It doesn't work the other way around.

I think you could argue the point that Sony is now using Instant Game Collection as a sort of introductory service for those late on the PS3, and to an extent as part of a reach out to prospective Vita owners. If you can take that logic then it makes sense that we're getting games that have already been in the consciousness of the more "hardcore" gamer. I'd actually love to know the process behind which games get chosen for the IGC ; how much it costs which vested interest, whether sales of DLC are a major factor in picking the games and soforth.

I agree that it's unfortunate that sometimes we get games we've already played ; for me personally though, the chance to play a lot of games I wouldn't have been able to afford or might not have necessarily been interested far outweighs the chance I've bought and enjoyed a game already.

That's a good way of looking at it, I suppose, though from that perspective Mass Effect 1 is a better freebie than 3, but I digress. Theres no doubt Plus provides the biggest value to new PS3 owners, and as long as they still provide the "hidden gems" category I won't whine over the occasional game I've already played.

On that note, I hope no one is really expecting Sleeping Dogs for US today. Vanquish was an awesome retail game and I imagine they'll go for a PSN title instead this week.

Since it's a Vita game expiring tomorrow (Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus) I'm expecting a Vita compatible game.

Been thinking about PvZ, so happy to get it with the program.

Also, glad I waited for SSDD on sale.

Edit: Will now have PvZ on PC, iOS, Kindle Fire, PS3, and PSV. Hoo-boy.

lame update. its like i am getting punished for supporting vita from the get go.
already have PvZ and most of sale games.

have the bolded ones. Rest don't interest me.

Its kinds of strange that Resistance:BS isn't on sale. Hopeful its coming to plus soon. Hot shot is too overpriced as compared to 13 for 13 sale.

Game Title Normal Price Sale Price PS Plus Sale
Escape Plan $14.99 $10.49 $7.34
Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational $35.99 $25.19 $17.63
Hustle Kings PS Vita $9.99 $6.99 $4.89
Little Deviants $17.99 $12.59 $8.81
MLB The Show 12 PS Vita $17.99 $12.59 $8.81
ModNation Racers: Road Trip $17.99 $13.99 $9.79
MotorStorm RC Complete Edition $11.99 $8.39 $5.87
PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale $35.99 $25.19 $17.
63
Reality Fighters $17.99 $12.59 $8.81
Smart As $26.99 $18.89 $13.22
Sound Shapes $14.99 $10.49 $7.34
Super Stardust Delta $9.99 $6.99 $4.89
Unit 13 $26.99 $18.89 $13.22

WOW. :(

Shouldn't they be trying to lure new people to plus before their sale ends next week and then give them updates like this? You would think that would be a smart business strategy no?

Oh well, at least I still have sleeping dogs/mortal kombat/f1 racers with my free EU ps+ codes and getting ME3 and DoA5 next week (all games I never played before).

I might just buy a year of EU ps + after my codes end in April (if their isnt another sale by then *please god let there be one I didn't know about the paypal thing*) even though the price has gone back up. It's really worth it.

I'm content, Plants vs Zombies is a fun little distraction. Not sure if I'll download it but even if I don't, Vanquish is amazing.

...
...

Deep down inside I sort of pretend I'm playing a new entry in the Mega Man series. *sob*

PvZ? Pft, it's currently free on iOS. :P

True, and a bit disappointing. Like I said, I wasn't expecting Sleeping Dogs, but I already played this on iOS (and they gave away the PS3 version about a year ago as well). Does the Vita version have anything extra?

I'm mad they put PSAS but not LBP. There's nothing wrong with All-Stars (i bought the game day 1 and love it) but wouldn't LBP be better. Hell, switch our Little Deviants for LBP. Yes, I'm salty I didn't get it over Christmas

Is Escape Plan worth getting? It's a little disheartening that Vita's anniversary sale is full of so many mediocre looking games.

Glad to have PvZ. Enjoyed it on iOS, but would prefer it on a Vita and a system with trophies. Somewhat surprised that we got a Vita game this week since we got Megaman last week.

looks like im playing PvZ for the 800th time.

i almost purchased this when it was on sale, so i'm happy :D

and sony gave me $10 so hard for me to rag on plus.

Kind of disappointing but that's what I get for expecting NA PS+ to be more like EU PS+.

Nevertheless, looks like I'm going to download PvZ and thinking of purchasing Hustle Kings Vita and Super Stardust Delta.

Platinum Trophy + shake the Vita to collect sun+coins. :lol

I might buy Hustle Kings. I got the PS3 version from the WElcome Back program and liked it.

The Vita version comes with the PS3 version, right? (I have the Japanese PS3 version and wouldn't mind getting the US one. :P)

They pay almost $15 more.

They get SO much more than $15 more worth of content in a year. Plus, games are just more expensive in Europe anyway.

Vita version has all the extra content that you had to pay additional money for in the iOS version. This brings it more in line with what the PC version of the game has.

iOS, while very functional, could get very expensive if you wanted to do the minigames and max out the zen garden.

Plus a Platinum Trophy!

Ninja Gaiden Black Sigma (PSV)
Vanquish (PS3)
Megaman X Maverick Hunter X (PSP)
Plants Vs Zombies (PSV)

Did I miss anything for february?
