I could, or instead I could just quickly explain how to use steam on your vita in case people want to but don't know how to.you should post that screenshot again
Go to the steam store and sign into your account.
click the community tab
click the send a chat message to yourself, it should ask to open a new window, allow it and you have a mostly working of steam chat assuming you don't have a ton of friends lol...
you could at least group off people you want to talk to as you can only see like 15 people

Man, Street Fighter X Tekken just spams the activity feed with everything I do in an online game. Sorry to any folks on my friends list who have to wade through all that.
Been super busy these past few months but I just got the full year+3 bonus months PS+ deal so hopefully I can play my Vita more often. Can't wait for Vita Guilty Gear, DOA5 and Divekick.

There are a lot of games that aren't MonHun, but are still decent.
What I didn't like about it was that it looked like an RPG, played like an RPG, but wasn't an RPG (no rpg stats).
But beyond that, the combat wasn't fun. If you aren't going to be an RPG, you should at least have fun combat.

Goddamn BB: CS Extend looks gorgeous on this OLED. I can't stop fussing over Makoto's erm... outfit. The menu music is all the same as the original, I'm getting all nostalgic over here @_@
i haven't a clue, I was annoyed by that as well... I don't want to use skype for talking to people I want to use to as a messenger service lol.
I whined at steam support for a native vita app like phones have, but they told me they were going to forward it to the right people (away from the mobile app support) and I never heard anything more :/
Any of you guys who just got BB want to play online? I can host a room if you're interested!

Yea, I just mean if Steam chat works through the browser there really is no reason text chat shouldn't work in the dedicated Skype app.
it mostly works in the browser....
some issues are you can't seem to scroll your friends list
the other issue is your messages can take up to 10 seconds to show up to the other people, and if you type fast enough they can actually show up out of order lol
aka it's not perfect, but it does at least allow me to go to my bedroom and play a game and shoot messages to my friends on steam from time to time.
more of us should whine at them. haha that may just work.
but i really don't like onscreen keyboards :/

i actually detest on screen keyboards, but my laptop in the bedroom kind of doesn't have a screen anymore >.>; so some way to not be disconnected is nice when I want to go to the bed room and play games as my main ps3 is in there as well as my set up for the vita. (though i have a back up set up for the vita in the living room as well)

That Vita looks really nice, although I still prefer the Hatsune Miku one. Hopefully he'll upload a gameplay video soon (as he usually does).
i actually though blazblue was both able to play online with ps3 owners and share saves... I could be wrong, but i bought the ps3 version with that understanding so if i get the vita version later I could just moves my data over o.o;
It's cross-save, but not cross-play. Pretty sure it was the first Vita game with cross-save implementation!

the game was, the bundle hasn't been confirmed for a western release, I doubt it will come over.
the next vita bundle we will get will likely be a killzone bundle in sept.
Definitely more difficult than BB. I just finished dowloading SFxT, so we'll see how I do, however I really don't think the L/R buttons will hamper me at all, it'll be more so that combos will be harder, as since I'm not using a joystick I can't plink anything, making links harder.

If you're going to spend the money, spend your money on something other than Unit 13.
But if you're dying to play a shooter then... patiently wait for Killzone: Mercenary.

Whaat. I enjoyed Unit 13. Best shooter on Vita so far. Get it and play it while you wait for KZ:Mercs. Atleast try the demo out.

I agree, it's the best shooter on the Vita so far. But there ain't much competition to begin with.
The full game is like the demo, with a couple extra guns and a few different environments. But I felt like there wasn't enough variation in the environments to keep me engaged. The best part about the game I thought was the co-op actually.
looks like it's around $400 for the bundle on ebay.

You'd need to hire a courier service or something. Amazon.jp doesn't ship internationally.

Tribute Games posted an update about their Mercenary Kings Kickstarter. Several factors may indicate a Vita port:

This would be a must for a portable version.
3. Their previous game Wizorb is already a PSP Mini.

Man... Wizorb was so great.

He called it a 'Bad game' and told everybody not to buy it.
Personally I probably agree that's not worth $40, however as a $20 or less game I think it's one of my favourite games on my Vita.
The controls are tight, graphics wise it looks fairly good and it has plenty of variety in the missions and character types.
No way is it a 'Bad game' that should be avoided like some other titles on the system.
