I voted for Stanley and also can't believe he made it.
It was pretty much the best possible outcome for me.

The majority of people voting probably haven't been posting on any message boards about it. I can see some real upsets happening in the next round.

Annie and Beowulf are confirmed for the next round. If Eliza or Minette get in, Beowulf is winning it all. If Issac or Stanley get in, Annie is winning. That's all you need to know about this vote. If you like Annie better, vote Annie/Stanley. If you like Wulf better, vote Wulf/Minette. Everyone else is irrelevant.

Scythes with microphones, Two attack modes (one is a different character, the skeleton-parasite Sekhmet!), blood-based specials, diva-based attacks!
A character so unique and complex is a bargain and her mechanics will enhance the game.

Seems I was right to say that I wasn't certain about Black Dahlia when I listed her, but I am surprised by being wrong about Feng, and to a lesser extent Marie (didn't really expect her to make top 4, but thought top 8 may have been feasible). Just as surprised to still see Stanley here, along with both time travelers instead of just one (I figured it would be one or the other between Aeon and Isaac). Not at all surprised by Brain Drain and Molly being out, though, and figured Venus had a high chance of being cut by the end of the round.
7th is making me so sad and so salty a week or two in advance. It's like Eliza has all the potential in the world to make top 2, but we know who the winners are already because of their support groups.
Then again, Eliza's second so far here. Time to plot a staged accident for Beowulf. >

I think this is the best possible outcome, 2 males and 2 females will split the respective fanbases. I'm predicting a Final 4 with 3 women and 1 male though, if that's the case I think Beowulf may very well take the final round.
Indeed. I did call her winning the entire thing, actually, which is regretful because I think she's gross AND looks bland.

Eliza has visual appeal like Panzerfaust so she can bring in both the casual and informed voters.
Informed voters also vote for Eliza because she also brings in complex and varied mechanics.

I wouldn't be surprised if Panzerfaust made it to the next round seeing as he was supposed to be the original Skulldude and a lot of people still want him.

100 votes is a long way from statistical significance with over 16000 people (plus people can easily skew straw polls, especially online ones).

I didn't even check that poll
I know I shouldn't, but I'm sick in bed and have little else to do (other than be sick).
I'm also pretty certain that other territories (not the US) ultimately determine the actual game direction, since the US is fairly skewed, the other countries probably have a lot more power than the US votes imagine.

Fair enough, if she wants to have a shot she should probably try to snipe the shark first so she can have his "unexpected" position.
Still wouldn't bet on her.
7th really isn't though. If Beowulf takes the first poll its going to be because he managed to skate on through the waifu wars because voters are too stubborn to see the bigger picture. It's exactly as he says. At this time its better to go with the overwhelming force of Annie voters than to risk none of the girls getting in due to votes being split.
