I don't even like Sol, i'm voting Annie, because its Annie, she's going to be her own character. I've had a thing for her, ever since I saw the first art of her a loong time ago.

I'm not sure Panzer will make it to the next round, I think him being a buy guy will start to hurt him now, even if his fist is a tank.

As for the second vote, I feel that JuJu will steal it. People will feel hungry for a character that for a while was considered forbidden.

Given that this game is entirely women, I would say that's wholly unlikely. A lot of people just like to play games. I got Persona 4 Arena and haven't played online, mostly because I don't like receiving PMs about how scrubby I am or am an asshole because I play "cheap" characters (I played Juri online on SSFIV - a "cheap" character, and I decided to stop playing online when I received messages like this).

Pretty much this. I like Sol or Gattsu but reducing the archetype to a little girl that sparkles just turns me off.

I can see her getting the most votes in the first 2 rounds and then getting abandoned when everyone has to choose between her and characters they were already invested in getting into the game in the first poll.

My bad, I interpreted it as those people just flat out hadn't played Skullgirls.

mmh I think my next 2 votes would be Eliza and Beowulf

But know everything is getting really hard D:

My brother's original four characters are out (Beatrix, Feng, Molly and Taliesin). And only Beowulf, that he vote in the second round, stay alive.

Now, he don't has really interest in anybody of the survivors of this round. He's vote is undecided into:
-Beowulf (he like the idea of chair moves).
-Eliza (she looks cool and use an scythe, pros to her).
-Isaac (if a time user needs to stay alive, he likes him more than Aeon).
-Minette (if she stay alive in the contest, is more possible that Annie don't win the contest).

But, in fact, he don't mind at all meanwhile the winner isn't Aeon (booooooring), Annie (he hate Sol's style) or Stanley (come one, the joke isn't funny anymore).

Panzerfaust is not an option for him, he looks great, but the heavy fighters playstyle don't fit with my brother.

In a place with time shifter, godesses, and Science and Tech craziness going on everywhere, attacking with the power of reading rainbow isn't all that impressive! ;)

I do think it's a bit unfair to JUST see her as a "Loli or Waifu", but the fact that she fits all those roles so poorly, in a way, lowers her appeal to those fanbases.

As one who doesn't particularily feel any strong feelings for her, I see her as something like a "just right" character. Not too young and girly, not to mature and icky, not too cute, not too awesome... (all this would change once she's "proven", but at a glance...)

I wish there WAS a real sword character in this game (Well, Fortune has her Air super?), but... wow, Annie's sword doesn't do it for me at all. Every time I see it, I'm torn between "Dollar Tree Saber" "Freaky Kitchen Knife" or "Budget Buster Sword"...

I can empathize with this more, personally. Some characters just APPEAL to ya, and I can totally get that :)

I guess I can understand the appeal of Annie as herself, but totally have no interested in her with most of what she's referencing, lol. Her design is BORING for a Magical Girl. She's not a good Gattsu or Sol. She's not a cool sword user... Heck, I'd prefer Pleinair from Disgaea for the "girl luggin' around a bunny!" Archetype!

But the fantasy (so close to being reality, just a few votes away!) of all that mixed has some potential.
 
Just said this in IRC, but...

Places 2-5 were practically tied in this round. All fell within 50 votes of each other.

A lot of the vote thus far has gone this way, so you shouldn't give up on your favorite characters just because they were eliminated early, etc.
