The wheelchair picture is unbelievable. Is there a point where you stop feeling pain because nerves are gone or something? Like what could he possibly be feeling, I can't comprehend it.

Chris Matthews on MSNBC hasn't been any better. These idiots keep asking the most retarded questions.

This happened during the recent mass shootings as well, I hate it, all of them ask and say the most inane, insensitive, stupid shit.

I understand they have to pad things because they have little information but have to keep the ball rolling, but come on. I think people would much rather you focus on the little information you have then segue into personal schlock nobody cares about.

What the fuck man...

Oklahoma City bombing: April 19, 1995
Waco FBI assault on Branch Davidian compound: April 19, 1993

Today: April 15, 2013

Way to state false information as if it's fact when your lazy ass could have easily checked on Google or Wikipedia first....

In his/her defence the news stations keep saying it is very close to the anniversary to waco and OKC, if you're only half listening to the news its easy to mishear the info

wow that video added with the explosion sounds and screams... so awful :(

I recall the Aurora thread coming off as an insane contest to say stupid, bannable stuff too.

I was so busy doing school work that I didn't realize this happened until GAF came up and someone randomly mentioned it in the gaming thread I was looking at before it went down. No one around me seemed to know either.

That Boston.com video is something else. The part with the smoke, screams and flags waving is ominous as fuck. I felt good about all the people responding so quickly at the end though.

Could be any number of things but...

Someone didn't do their job and screwed up security somewhere. How did these explosives go unnoticed before the race, especially at the finish line?

let's worry about the people injured right now

explosives were probably in backpacks/trash cans/etc. (someone correct me if I'm wrong here)

Stay safe Boston-GAF and all other people that live in major metropolitan areas. I fell in love with Boston, and it saddens me to hear this happened. Hope those responsible are caught soon.

There is no way to keep track of every possible person/bag in a marathon setting since its an outdoor event. Its literally impossible.

This is really terrible. Couldn't imagine watching a marathon then everything starts exploding around you. Must have been terrifying.

ON abc they said a person might have possibly came after the event started, and that it being a college town lots of people with backpacks, etc. Super depressing this whole situation..

My friend's there right now. I hope nothing else happens.

Was listening to WFAN for a while. For all the griefing I give Mike Francesa, the dude knows how to help put things in perspective for people. He was great during Sandy, too.
