When you have a PSN code, you can enter it to see if its valid without redeeming the code, right?
Looks like a bigger issue than normal. Japan store hasn't updated yet either. Starting to worry that it's actually something to do with the second anniversary of the outage.

I wonder if people will hold this against Sony come next gen. The inconsistency of the PS store is an embarrassment. I can imagine the angry people waiting to play InJustice or download the SS demo.
I hate to deal with the devil, but I'm purchasing SS from GS. I can't deal with this bull shit when it comes to games I'm greatly anticipating.

From what I have seen in videos and played of the Japanese demo, it feels like a Monster Hunter-ish game but not really. You mainly go on missions to fight monsters and bosses to gain more magic. You sacrifice or save enemies to raise your light or dark levels. Total level is 100 but it's divided by the dark and light levels so you can be light 47/dark 53 and stuff. I guess it affects what spells you can use and other stuff.
As cool and interesting as it looks, I think I'll end up passing on this. Def not a day one buy for me. The maps feel like they're nothing but single battle arena fighting a boss the best you can. So it's like a boss rush mode game and you try to get the best rank you can to get better spells.
I'll give the US demo a try when it's up, but I don't think being able to understand the story alone is gonna be enough to get me into this if what I played is all it is. I guess we'll see...
EDIT: I realize my avatar is a Soul Sacrifice character I made in the Japanese demo. I made my character and was liking the game before I started thinking "is this it?" lol
I'm using the game as an example. If I were interested in the title. I would most likely get the digital version, being a fighting game. It's very disappointing that someone would have to turn to retail, because the store failed, not just to update on time, but update at all.
Laugh now, but both Sony and MS are going hard with DD. If you can't even get your weekly updates out on time. How does that reflect on your company?

Sony America is a complete failure. They need to fire Tretton and Chen and just put the Japanese store team on it. At least then maybe we'd get more PSX titles like fucking Einhander that's been on the fucking store for fucking seven years now. Fucking goddamn it. >:|

Instead of setting Tuesday as update day, they should just set it to Monday and then push the button at a specific time on Tuesday.

the psn update isn't out yet so you could even argue it's still new. unlike the 54 other games I have on my Vita. all old
