Someone did in another Nintendo Direct related thread.

My second biggest disappoint from this Direct, after no release date for The Wonderful 101, is Nintendo continuing to ignore asynchronous gameplay. It would work incredibly well for Mario Party 3DS and Mario Golf: World Tour.

It's the best of the bunch admittedly but looks... cheap? I'm not sure it's hard to put my finger on, but there's definitely something off-putting about the presentation to me.

The Wii U system update sounds great.

Pressing B to boot right to Wii Mode is absolutely excellent.

I will say that Mario Party and Mario Golf for 3DS don't excite me at all. If they were console versions, I'd be much more interested. I just don't do multiplayer on 3DS. This is also why I've barely touched Mario Kart 7. It's a great game, but MK is a series I play for local multiplayer. Yeah, I'm not big into online unless it's local+online. I'm the only person I know who has a 3DS.

Wii Party U is going to be my next big multiplayer Wii U game, I guess.

Games like Doshin the Giant are what stops nintendo from pouring a lot of money into new unproven IP.

It's been said already, the safe and smart way is to add new gameplay and fresh ideas into already established franchises with the characters they know are a draw.

Let the eshop be the proving ground for new characters

but to compare the 3DSXL to the DSXL I would say the 3DS is the better system, only because it has the BC.

Gameplay will look ok from vids but once you have a go on it, the nintendo magic will kick in and all the little touches they do will become apparent, same thing happend to me with Luigi's Mansion.

for the time being, I do not think there is a reason for me to get a Wii-U maybe in 2014 when it get's into its stride, but i'll see.

3DS games NEVER look good in screenshots or video. However, when you play them on the actual console, they look fine, if not beautiful.

Well the 3DS still has a good lineup. Too bad about the lack of Wii-u. Thought the way they announced it, lack of Wii-u was to be expected. Good to hear about Earthbound, too bad no Mother 3. I wonder if they will modify anything in the game since its snes release. (A lot of music was "copied" from music of that time, more or less a "tribute" than a copy)

Might have to buy a 3ds eventually.

You know how we've got Sin and Punishment 2? Sin and Punishment for N64 was released on Virtual Console and got nice feedback. If they see demand we might get Mother 3 translated by Nintendo. One can dream.

Edit: Did Shibata or the europe Nintendo press site say anything about Shin Megami Tensei 4s release date?
