FWIW.... I saw a interview with a former schoolmate of his who said she and others recognized him last night and when they looked his facebook account had been deleted already.

It was on one of the national GMA type shows about an hour ago.

Am honestly sure it were him. Maybe someone else but someone seemed to interrupt and make that statement. Its nothing to do with twitter and twitter was never mentioned, nor is the above quote what was posted on twitter.

So either an officer read it out or someone interrupted the line.

Apparently it was just a cop reading what the fake twitter account said online, but said it with some emotion. Fooled a lot of us as it came so out of nowhere.

Yeah there was a good deal of static/breakup for a wee while and then "I will kill you...." and the eggy silence/wtf moment for the other guys using the radio. I actually said "Holy shit" out loud because I thought it was him.
