I'm suspecting that they are innocent of the bombing crime, but guilty of the separate crime of evading arrest and attacking cops. You can't presume guilt in the former simply because they are guilty of the latter.

This is why suspected criminals should be captured alive if possible, but I guess that proved hard in this case.

Although i agree wanting evidence isn't weird to ask. The fact is they killed that cop in cold blood, had a shootout with explosives and guns. They aren't innocent people that's for damn sure. I am not saying for a fact they bombed the marathon but they aren't innocent people.

An innocent person doesn't walk up to a cop and shoot them, a innocent person doesn't wear a fucking explosive vest and have a firefight with a squad of cops.
