Is the flag waving really necessary?

I haven't been waving a flag, but if this situation happened in the UK or France, I would be saying "Go UK!" or "Go France!". I imagine their citizens would be even more relieved. You having a problem with that is strange, not the opposite.

Meh. I don't care if he dies or not (assuming he is guilty).

What answer is he going to give that you want to hear? There's no legit answer. It will just be annoying bullshit.

Correct, who gives a shit what his "cause" is? I dont care what motivated them, they are evil, plain and simple.

That said, if he/his brother were part of a larger group then for sure finding out about that and getting the others would be useful I cant deny that.

dude wanted his reddit karma.

Damn, dude looks tiny in that photo.

I saw some statistics that he is something like 6'1" or 6'2" and around 130-140 lbs... pretty skinny dude. Might not be exact numbers, but it was along those lines.

EDIT: These stats seem to be for the falsely identified/accused missing Brown student, so I must be mis-remembering. Ignore!

He's an American citizen and must be given the rights and due process that every citizen is guaranteed.

Because he did abhorrent things only makes it more important that we, as a society, show that we are better than that.
Very true. It's in these situations the systems shows how good/bad it is.

CNN made some stupid errors, but they have nothing on reddit/4-chan/gaf detectives.

CNN didn't blame any innocent people or rush to show off the wrong pictures.

We will know plenty. Dude is going to be so easy for investigators to make talk. I mean, a negotiator got him to give up. He was clearly the weaker link in the terror duo. If it was his older brother in the same position I doubt we would have got the same ending.

how do you know the negotiator got him to give up?

This is great news! I know this doesnt mean we will absolutely get answers to why these people felt the need to do this horrible act. But its looking better than expected. Plus there is something to be said for being able to make an example out of him. I dont think we catch to many people that commit this high level of crime, they usually just die

Looks like he is in cuffs there - think they would do that if he was about to die?

Hope he makes it just to learn more, but what are the chanes of getting anything out of him?

Maybe he does, but our society is better than that. Fair trial, and sentenced to death by his peers. It's the right way.
I know, I'm just a enraged towards this guy. Of course he deserves what every American citizen does. I'm letting my emotions get ahold of me a bit

Are you agree your not taking about Sunil, the missing Brown student? Because those were his stats. (They could be similar, I don't know.)

Coming from a family of fire fighters, police officers, and EMTs from the Boston area I could not be more proud and greatful for the heroes of this week.
