60 minutes could be perfect. The PS meeting had so much jibberish in the beginning that they could have removed.
PS4 meeting felt packed, I don't remember jibberish? I remember awesome montage and then Cerny came on stage ~10min afterwards.

I kind of feel like Xbox will have an advantage here, due to the fact that PS4 never actually showed their console and the nextbox will be the first next gen console that we see with our eyes. Unless they pull a Sony.
I'm betting on it.

But after all that, all we got were games and some of the systems features.
The jibberish small in comparison.
But I expect them to reveal the console design off the bat, and focus a lot more on OS features and such.

I'll admit that when it seemed extremely likely that the always online requirement was going to happen, I was in that boat as well but with all the conflicting rumors on that front coming in lately so I'm just going to wait and see what happens. I always go where the games I want are so I'm interested to see what MS brings to the table with new IPs/exclusives.
Good thing E3 is only 20 days after the reveal.

That all that matters, and everyone that claims they're aren't interested here on gaf and who will be able to catch the reveal WILL catch it. Don't expect that many games like Sony. Microsoft said E3 will be about games.
Its an announcement. Just the basics with everything else 2 weeks later at E3.
If it's like the Playstation Meeting they will be watching the stream themselves. With Gertsmann in New York or wherever this is being held (Redmond?). PS Meeting was basically an 1.5 hour stream and GB surrounded it by a half n hour on each side talking about the impact. It was well done.

Since it's only an hour (dumb), I assume it will be more of a hardware reveal and then there'll be some trailer montage of new games at the end. They'll be a flash of Forza 5 in the snow, Black Tusk IP (excited!), and other cool shit we don't know about that we'll learn at E3.

Kaz gifs started on day ~2 when PS4 thread was on the page ~70. Durango unveiling thread has much less traffic.

I really hope MS start this event by showing us a game. They won't do it, but imagine, lights fade, cutscene, Black Tusk/new partner logo/Epic or whatever, goes in-game and they just start playing. Demo 1-2 minutes, finishes.

That's true, I just went back to the "Wii 2 (Project Cafe): Officially Announced" thread and it also got 70 pages on the first day, but I'm sure the thread will pick up a lot once we get closer.
That would be cool, but it's far more likely that they start off with Don Mattrick or someone else on stage talking about the success of Kinect and the Xbox brand. Then they'll announce the name of the nextbox and go on about their commitment to entertainment.
You can't really compare a regular E3 to a console announcement.

I suspect we will get as much info out of it as we did the ps4 event. We will probably have bigger game reveals though. I suspect MS wont be holding back as much as sony was.
But I dont think MS will have a long 20 minute sections talking about tech like Cerny and Perry at the Sony show.
MS will be going for a different tone.
I'm not, but MS does like to start with a game demo. They could just run a video at the beginning talking about the Xbox brand and how it's grown over the years, and then a stage demo starts -- bringing in the next-generation of Xbox. Then Mattrick could walk on stage.
Oh man, I can't wait to see some more next-gen games! Fuck I excite!

Nah. The box isn't important, it's what's inside it and what you control it with that matters.
The most important thing they need to announce is relative hardware parity with the PS4, so multi-platform games are not gimped for either system.
