Gabe is going to come on stage rubbing his palms together with a big greasy smile and be like "ahh yea it's really good to be here Don I'm here today to announce a project y'all may have heard about...Half Life 3!" aand then put his hands up in the air and be like "Better with Kinnect!" and then the trailer starts playing

Kinda sucks that they are leaving the games for E3. Like, they are going to show none at all?

edit: Also, Tuesday at 1pm EST?

Wow, going prime-time I see.
I find this highly unlikely. They will show some software; it would be too dumb not to.

Exclusives apps and games.

Oh really? I have not owned a smart-phone or tablet yet, so I'm grateful for any apps really. People say Android has way more, but I'm not even sure how many I'd use. Same with games.

Yeah, it may not be a ton, but we're definitely going to see quite a few.

On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games.

Sounds like we won't see much of any games at the event itself, they're saving them for E3. If so, this event is going to be so lame lol.

To me, that sounds like they'll show a few and show the rest later.

Honestly I'm guessing 1 or 2 games shown tops. Probably Ryse and another Kinect game. Most of the event will be about how Xbox is the center of entertainment with TV, movies, apps, etc. They only have 60 minutes after all.

Someone else told me that. Where are you seeing this?

Ehhh, maybe I am reading too much into it?

How anyone can make GIFs with Balmer looking like anything other than a sweaty ape is beyond me. Don Mattrick is hard to stomach as well. If only Peter Moore was still with M$.

The times fairly manageable for me for once, 6pm UK time, at least i wont have to get up super early or stay up late to find out what's in store.

Yeah, key words "full lineup" at E3. Implying, less than full lineup at this event, implying, we are showing some of the lineup at this event.

No games would be just dumb. At the VERY least they have to have some Kinect games to flail too to fill an hour you'd think.

an extra good thing is that after the X3 I'd finally revealed we will most likey see the next gen news floodgates burst. About damn time, too.

This is an awful prediction...this mindset of MS not caring about games need to die in a fucking fire.

My guess is that they show a couple of big games that are a ways off and then E3 will be their normal "Here are the games you will be playing this year"

Well were already getting Ryse, a new racing IP, and a new IP from Black Tusk so thats why I went with sequels I want to see. Also I was pretty vague about "new platformer from Rare"

It would be nice to see something from Rare that really brings back the old creativity. Sadly the team isn't the same as it once was. I'd just like to see less emphasis on the shooter genre and less less sequels. Ryse could be cool with an improved Kinect. Even a new Killer Instinct with the new Kinect might get people excited over how much better the device is.

Awesome stuff. Friggen' hilarious.

Its strange but my hype for the next Xbox is nil to low. All of the positive talk about how great Sony's next machine will be, has definitely had an impact. Also 1 hour is too short for this kind of of thing. So by the time the machine itself is finished being spoken about, there will be little time for game reveals.

An hour can really be a good amount of time if Microsoft goes fast and hard. They go real light on info, show off the product, some of the UI, etc. and games. Keep the synergy to the minimum, obviously don't remove it all together but cut most of it out; just show, don't tell. Have 15-20 minutes dedicated to games; shorter clips, maybe a few quick demos.

I don't think Microsoft is going to do that, but that would be ideal for people who are interested in seeing what this console has, games-wise.

I'm not sure how I feel about the modified 360 logo. I definitely think the 360 logo is pretty iconic, but I like seeing logos change over the years. I don't think it will provide any additional brand-confusion, but I'm curious if just flattening and making the color sharper (to make it similar to Windows 8) is enough to differentiate it?

Probably a dumb thing to think about, but whatever.
