If they use the "ranked vote" method that's actually going to be very difficult.

Yup. It was originally splitting votes that got these characters to advance so much. Now because of the fervor of hate toward the finalists expect to see people voting just to keep those characters out now.

Now that I've stopped banging my head against the keyboard, it's dawned on me that I'm okay with Eliza. She would've been about my 7th-8th pick.

How are they supposed to do that? There is no voting system that allows voting AGAINST certain characters. Unless they went TOURNAMENT MODE like SaiMOE.

I don't know. I think Aeon, Annie and Minette have a great chance of being in the finals again. It's not like their fanbase will have disappeared.
When the anime fans meet the fighting game fans, expect sparks to fly.

Remember, Eliza apparently won by a huge margin. I'm almost certain a guy is getting picked in round 2, and by guy, I mean Beowulf.

Minette bullet dodged! For Eliza's victory, I think it helped that while all the other characters had lots of fans AND haters, few people seemed to hate Eliza.
Protip: For everybody who's on all in on #TeamPenis next round, vote for Beowulf. He missed this top 4 by only nine votes and he clearly has the most mass appeal. If you want to avoid splitting the male vote, Beowulf is your man.

No, I'm fine with Eliza. I'm fine with any girl other than Beatrix and her awful design. That's exactly my point: I want a second girl and the only one that stands a chance is Annie.

BUT ELIZA WON I AM SO HAPPY! I feel, like, accomplished, even though I was only one vote!
Now to fight for Beowulf next round!
Its going to happen. People aren't going to use one of their votes on them in order to boost the characters they like that got eliminated early. There's also the people who only want men and adult women(I'm sure none of them wanted Annie or Minette to win at all and were pissed at them getting as far as they did) in the game.
There is no chance any other the other characters who made the top 4 will win IMO.
Now that would be interesting. make each round of voting between 2 chars. think there's 29 total so Annie/Minette/Aeon would get byes into round 2.
Personally, I don't hate loli, I just don't like Annie. Two things I don't like are eyepatches and Guilty Gear, so she's the worst of both worlds. If Minette had won I wouldn't have had salt.
Tossup between Beowulf, Stanley, and Issac imo.
She won by a landslide because the votes merged towards her, rather than splintered. If there's only one guy in the top 4 next time, it's pretty much assured that he won't win.

Havent been following this too closely but Eliza was my favorite design out of the bunch, so I'm glad she won. Hope she's fun to play as.
Feng has no chance; her fanbase isn't big enough. The only female characters that can defeat the male characters are Annie and Minette.
