Shit you're right. Or like one of those thousand year old turtles.

You guys can't even agree on why you hate Magus so much.

I know it's because you all have secret crushes. I won't tell anyone.
The only thing bad about Magus is that he downplays people's team and tactics because they aren't what is considered standard in Norcal. He obviously gets blown up for it.

Man. Listening to Magus on commentary is making me jones for the days of Sat. night drunken Keystone 2 streams. Those were so great.

And? Kazunoko lost to Justin at Evo. I'm sure Infiltration would be more prepared for the runback.

Also I'm pretty sure towards the end of Vanilla Mago and Momochi were considered better.

We'll see, players who are worse than Kaznuoko (with Yun) gave Infiltration a hard time.

what? that's the only thing bad about him?

what about being annoying as fuck, taking everything way too seriously, and being completely unhype? when i watch marvel i don't want to hear some whiny nerd overanalyze everything, it's fucking terrible

Specifically he seems to think he has to talk the entire time. Pace yourself, son, sometimes I don't mind hearing the game audio.

He can be hype too but that's just the other side of the coin. Some people like professional, indepth commentary which Magus tries to provide. I think Magus with a hype commentator is solid like him and Yipes at EVO.

Infiltration time is up at EVO. Japan really is better, and Xian really lost to himself and his lack of knowledge.

Doesn't matter if Japan is better overall, there's nobody in Japan who's got the toolset of Infiltration. I don't see anyone who's as strong mentally or with legendary patience or methodical to the point of near insanity. And just like Tokido, Infiltration is a mega nerd as far as studying the frame data (he discovered the unblockables along with laugh and some other dude). Infiltration made like 1 or 2 mistakes in the set against Xian (he teleported right into Gen lol), which is close to none at all. There is not one japanese player who's on par as they all do several mistakes or eventually crack under pressure even if they rarely drop combos. The closest is Daigo, but he doesn't have the calculated/machine like behavior and take far more risks which end up with him being punished. Infiltration doesn't drop combos and he rarely make mistakes which is why he's so dominant. You simply need to play at 100% to beat him as anything less is an automatic loss.

Ok. You win.

Magus looks like a Bugsy Malone version of Ace Rothstein from Casino. That's what it is.

That's been bugging me for awhile. But he's basically doing DeNiro cosplay from the end of that movie. All he needs is a cigarette holder and a cravat.
