I've been skeptical about the alternative voting / instant run-off method that we'll be using in this next vote but this video a Gamefaqs user highlighted really explains the benefits of the system.

I'm convinced!

With this method the base splitting that would occur with people simultaneously going for Annie and Minette (as an example, not saying that the bases are necessarily analogous) is mitigated and a character that's more representative of the base's wants is chosen.

So let's say I vote like this:

Maybe MikeZ could use Nova from UMvC3 as a template for Eliza for her blood mechanic. You have "that" much red health which you can use to boost certain special moves.

I know it sucks as it's currently implemented but it's fixable. You could change it so that it would use a set amount no matter the amount of red health available. Kinda like the meter burn mechanic of Injustice but using blocks of red health as currency. There are other avenues that could be explored I'm just throwing it out there.

Just to throw something out there. I hate when people say, because other characters are better or more fun to play as. While other characters they seem to dislike/hate are one they say so much negative things towards them.

We don't know what any of these characters are going to play as at all, never pass judgment. Just because they have inspiration or info spilled out them doesn't mean you know how they are. This was same problem with Scythana. "Oh, why do you want to play as lame ass Cody." When clearly she isn't going to play anything close to that. I could only give it to people who pass, barely, when they see the videos demonstrating them.

The last thing this game needs is a "Phoenix Wright."
"Oh, I want herpaderp in, because she's kawaii/sugoi!" and then don't get shit done at all with them.

Not that Mike isn't creative enough, but I'll prefer an "original awesome concept" for an original cool character. You know, something that'll actually push him to make dope playable characters.

I want to see the game succeed as a nice & diverse fighter, not typical cute girl fighter #9.
