I think leaks are coming. We are at that point before an Hardware E3 when all sorts of leaks start trickling out from every where.

Yeah, I think the 360 sub is basically a test case for this coming gen. If they want it to catch on, they'll definitely need to let shops dole it out as well.

I'm almost certain they'll have some variation of the share button as well unless they're building their game capture stuff as Kinect only... which would be silly.

PLAYSTATION 3 will do exactly this. It launches in Spring 2006.

I'm pretty sure we'll get a decent d-pad since they've improved it a lot already in the standard controllers with the transformer pad. A share button sounds like a possibility too, but I could see them just integrate that into the Xbox Dash button.

I... uh... what? I can't believe that was actually on Kotaku.

If I had to guess, the customer service people won't know shit anyways. There's no reason for them to know anything concrete this early. It's not like a developer is going to call up Xbox Support for help with developing on the dev kits.

The games will determine whether I buy these consoles day one or not.

Money isn't an issue. I just sold my Atari Jaguar and Panasonic 3DO for $400AU combined which adds to the $700 I had saved up. I'll gather more before release.

But I'm not going to buy for the sake of it. ZombiU and NSMBU made the WiiU worth it at launch.

Right now, third party games look great, but there's no point buying BOTH a PS4 and new Xbox day one for that.

It'll come down to exclusives for a day one purchase. Right now, the PS4 line up is looking meh to say the least. But all we have on Xbox is rumours.

Alan Wake 2, Crackdown 3 or a decent looking new IP would clinch it for me. Otherwise, id wait on both. There's plenty on PS360 to keep me going.

If its kid games, I don't see it being made without Kinect. Kids love it. As for what I want personally, Alan Wake, something new from Twisted Pixel, Fallout 4, something that's not Halo from 343, Project Gotham, a new take on Geometry Wars. I have a feeling the game I'll be most interested in at launch is Watch Dogs and GTA5 if it has a next gen version. Sonys first party titles did nothing for me, and unless they shock me, I bet third party titles are what's going to excite me most about MS's launch lineup. I hope I'm wrong.

I fairly certain we will see the box and controller at the event. If I'm remembering correctly, Major Nelson was tweeting how disappointing it was that Sony didn't show their console at the PS4 event.
