It looks sturdy, and they'll have a roof. It's a lot bigger than the second pic makes it look, BTW.

If you assume that the distance between the chain link poles is 8' (typical) then you could guesstimate that the distance b/w supports is roughly 15'-16' (also typical for a metal structure). This makes the building 135' x 120'. that makes for about 16,200 square feet of real estate to work with.

In comparison, the Hammerstein (where the Playstation event was held) is 12,000 square feet but with two balconies and can seat 2,200 people.

I don't expect there to be as many seats or attendees to this event ( because some of that space in the tent will be taken up by the stage and probably a bar or two) but it should give you a decent idea of how many people they can accommodate.

Also, can someone make an Advent Rising avatar that is stamped that I could use?

There ya go!

Open with CoD? That seems like a pretty bad idea, unless it's not on PS4.

They should open with whatever their second biggest exclusive is.

They'll lead with CoD for sure.

Remember the MS press conference that started with MW3? They know their audience and they are sure that a shiny smooth next generation CoD will please their audience.

Those are E3 conferences though, it's a pretty different situation.

Going second has a huge advantage, and a huge disadvantage, it's good because you can react to the competition, it's bad because you have a milestone for comparison. Every multiplaform game announced for PS4 until now, which will be on XB3, has only been confirmed for Sony's system, Destiny, Thief, The Witcher 3, etc, are all coming to XB3, but because MS hadn't announced their system, they can only be confirmed for PS4 till next week. Everything MS announces that is already a feature, or game, coming to PS4 is a waste of their time, none of it will be viewed as a win. They can, and should, mention that stuff in passing, but to focus time on a game Sony is getting seems like a really bad use of time.

Does anyone else hope it's a huge disappointment so that they aren't tempted to buy two new systems this fall?

I know what you mean. I will only buy one system this year. The most powerfullest.

Well Sony haven't exactly set the world alight with another Killzone and another Infamous. I don't care about either of those games if that's their launch. Drive Club might persuade me but Evolution's pedigree doesn't really fill me with confidence.

If MS come out swinging with a new Forza or PGR, though, I'd have to be there day one.

The next XBOX is being announced in 8 days. 8 days!! Stoked.

Wet Dream reveal = Alan Wake 2, Crackdown 3, Lost Odyssey 2 and... Fallout 4!
