This thread is trying too hard, you will never top the PS Meeting thread, never.

Definitely want some new IPs; but also wouldn't mind revisiting OG xbox or 360 past as well.

How about MS fund Psychonauts 2?

700k is also pathetic.

It's well over 1 million now, but regardless.

It's the best selling JRPG exclusive on the HD Twins this generation. That isn't saying much, but it sold "enough" to moneyhat a sequel and expand their list of genres and appeal, as I stated before.

You can expect them to come out all guns blazing just like they did in the early 360 days. In fact, hasn't Aaron Greenberg alluded to as much?

Strange turn of events when the PS4 reveal is much bigger than the next Xbox reveal. I would've thought Microsoft would go all in.

It will be streamed better than ever, multi web channels with their own link each with GT coverage aftermath, will be glorious.

Being it's a US company and the event is hosted in the US, I would think catering to that population first makes the most sense...

They do, it's morning, it will be in the news everywhere the whole day. Bonus if they show the box. By evening in the US the box is already known by mainstream.

It's not worth doing, because it won't help them, their money and effort is much better spent on software that will help pull mainland Europe. Japan is futile.

stealth troll. Nice.

when has Ms not had amazing set design for a major Xbox announce?

their e3 stages are always the best.

Not really trolling. I just think that the actual setup for what's going to be the announcement of their next gen console leaves a bit to be desired.

EDIT: Maybe when everything's set and the lights are on, it will look great and the actual tent won't even be important at all.

I'm an american who would like LO2. Who cares if it helps in japan or not. Thats like saying UC franchise should stop because it didn't help sell enough consoles. I would be sad if they don't make UC4 because people would be missing out on a great movie.

Who cares about the scenario. I'm watching for the content, not to see if their guesses are enjoying the view. Also, their E3 sets are best in class, so there's that.

Remember when Nintendo used the Kodak Theater? THE fucking Kodak Theater, to show Wii Music. Yeah, now you get it.

I'm not talking about Japan, I'm talking about the perception from having a diverse genre of games and IPs. I don't see them letting the Lost Odyssey IP die when they could benefit from it in the long run.

For example, say a small portion of gamers who enjoy this genre pick up Durango as a result, similar to the start of the 360. It's the revenue from years of Live etc thereafter that Microsoft rake in that's the draw. I think that dude on Gametrailers has it right, Microsoft will come out and attempt to rope everyone in from the start.

Can someone "only on xbox" my avatar please?

Are people actually tying the size of a tent/building to the content of a reveal? Has trolling gotten that hard?

I think quite a lot of people were expecting something that blows the door off in terms of budget and scale. It's their next-gen reveal, it's something worth having a spectacle around.

And care to point out who's actually tying the size of the tent to the content that isn't obviously joking?

Dunno what you expected. It was announced that it was going to be a small venue for key members of the press. The thing is going on national TV and livestreamed over the internet with pre and post shows. If you're trying to say that the size of the venue has any correlation to the magnitude of the announcement then you're wasting your time, nobody is buying it.

Perhaps you aren't doing it on purpose, but you are using your preference for what Sony presented as a measuring stick for what Microsoft will present.

Microsoft will do what MS will do, and if you already don't like it, before it's done, vis-à-vis the Sony conference, I think that says something about you, not the conference (yet at least).

Well, we shall see. I think whichever dude you're referring to is wrong.
