I have to say that the gamer in me was impressed with the specs of the PS4 announcment, and I am hoping that Microsoft can match or come very close in performance.

Like XtremeXpider.xbox where you can find a stream of what you are playing etc. That would also explain the always on rumors. But I guess if you really want to do such stuff you would need a good connection (16 mBit and above).

Assuming that they're ready to even talk about or demo it, and even though cloud service should be able to act on account-based purchases, with regard to streaming and slinging AV out, I wonder if online will be required during local serving, to say, screens registered in your house or near enough to the console.
