Try telling that to the ones who think vanilla Wolvie and Phoenix are the worst derps in fighting game history. Vanilla Dante had always been relatively fair compared to those 2, vanilla Wesker and vanilla Magneto. He's popular but the amount of vanilla Dante players who stood out and were highly successful with him could be counted in one finger (PR Rog, Josh Wong, Richard N, maybe Yipes). Even in vanilla he has always been strong but the amount of cheap, ridiculously unfair things he has pales in comparision to others. The invincible hammer is probably about it, the hitboxes of his normals is derp too but it's balanced by how slow they are.

While in UMvC3 they had nerfed the Hammer, his damage and the Hitboxes, with those nerfs he's about as fair as you can get. Which in MvC terms makes him pretty mid-low tier if not for his value as a team character.

That's cheating, you can use one finger do count any number of things. Saying they can be counted in one finger, then posting 4 names is too cheap.

For all the talk about MK being dead, the game is not doing too bad for UFGT, actually. Certainly not as many as last year, but it's about on par with a bunch of other games like TTT2 and P4A. There are a lot of top players for MK showing up as well (Which should also make the Injustice tournament interesting.)

I do think that the reason Evo included MK in the game list was because they wanted to keep that community happy (or keep WB happy, if that's what you feel) and they weren't sure if Injustice was going be good or not. I didn't expect it to be popular either, but here we are.

What do you study?

Actually Phoenix is the best derp in fighting game history.

Come to think of it, I think Injustice sales might kick up closer to Man of Steel, and WB seems to be pretty in sync with what they do. I think that's around when they'll announce Zod DLC too.

I agree that Driver is kinda useless, but stagger?! That's too damn much
And I agree with Shady about Dante's ABC not hitting airbone being a problem

Drive is already one of Dante's better moves, and one of my most used moves. And their buffs just make it dumb. lol
Yea those buffs were over the top on Drive.

But then they hella nerfed Jam Session. I mean that sort of balances out but I can't really agree with that.

I can't see that, why is it so good? You can't combo with it, can't confirm, just mix-ups, am I missing something? (probably yes)

And I don't think Frank needs ajusts

Frank is too hard to balance.

Basically in terms of broad strokes... he is too shitty in LVL1 and too good in LVL4. That needs to be adjusted a bit.

Honestly speaking if you nerf Jam Session you nerf Frank West too. He becomes balanced then. Frank even with LVL4 minus Jam Session is fine.

NRS must use the Dark Souls character creator to make their models, because it's really hard to make a decent looking female in this shit.

Zoning. It forces characters to approach Dante differently, since he can pretty much put two of them on the screen at once, so it cuts off all ground movement. It forces characters to go to the air, where Dante can use his strong anti-air options and what not.

It's basically to force your opponent to play differently, which is what Dante's entire gameplan revolves around(but most people don't realize this).

Viper is the easiest character to fix.

*No jump cancel after EX Seismo so it's not fucking +60 on block
*Damage scaling nerf slightly
*Unblockable nerf

Then she becomes fair.

Magus actually being reasonable about Viper but then the age old argument of "character requires skill so shouldn't be nerfed hard".

MK has regional popularity, and UFGT is like the headquarters of MK fandom.
