So if they used 7970 was to emulate stuff that was not yet finalised.
However, it would be sweet (just to see the meltdowns etc) if Greenberg would tweet something like: "those VGLeak specs, forgetaboutit" some days before the event. NeoGaf would be a marvellous place to be in then

I just don't think spec is what will make the next xbox special. I'm expecting slightly less then ps4 spec.

The specs in both systems suck. I bought a graphics card last year and it spanks them both with it's 4 TFLOP performance.
If you really care about specs, buy a gaming PC.

That's my plan. The laptop I want now will spank both consoles, but I'm holding off until it gets upgraded with a Haswell processor. So rather than buy both consoles, I'll be getting one initially along with the laptop. Based on the games I saw at the PS4 reveal, I'll be waiting on the PS4. Unless they have some secret third party exclusives, they simply lack appealing exclusives. Microsoft has the power to change my mind about buying either console if they announce no used games, and always-forced-online. If that happens, PC only + 360 combo for a year or two.
The fact booths are at this means there will be games there. If the show was going to have a huge focus on specs I doubt they'd bother.
