Next Xbox Reveal Set For May 21, 10:00 A.M. PST, Livestreamed

I'm glad I am able to watch this , it will be the first time that I've seen all next gen system reveals live!

It will be quite the event, and Microsoft is in a good position to top the Playstation Meeting if they do it right.
 
If Microsoft delivers, I expect everyone to be legit shook!
 
Almost done with my final workday before the event!! Its going to be a very long weekend, especially since we have Monday off as well.

Between that and Square Enix's "please be excited," those were the low points of that conference for me.

At least the Infamous game looked like its going to be a blast. SE could have sent Baghdad Bob to announce their whole lot of nothing and had a better effect.

Dude it was bad enough I sort of looked away from the screen and breathed shallow like a REALLY bad singer was singing.

Another bad one but NOT overall second place was the guy talking about cars...
Then there is the Mattrick pause.

But ya still this one was the worst.

Not showing the console was so confusing. For 10 minutes or something I really thought the controller was the new console. I was truly shocked.

But as a few already have pointed out: it is highly likely that Microsoft will indeed show the console on stage, or at least in a video, upfront.

The fact that he was just left on stage to die as the audience was clearly unimpressed with his antics made it hard for me to sit through, lol.

Konami 2010 on the other hand was amazing! What a fluke, one of the most memorable (and chaotic) conferences ever.

I have a lot more faith in Microsoft than I do Sony. I honestly don't expect half of the announced ps4 features to be available at launch...or possibly ever. I feel like the Xbox division of Microsoft has really matured the past several years and I can se them releasing a system dedicated to gamers.

I also think it will be very very similar to the ps4 graphically.
 
I hope we get something similar to the e3 2005 press conference. Probably not since this event is only 60 minutes but still.

That conference was so awesome, full on walkthrough of the UI, new features, a slew of games and great people presenting.

If not at the reveal event, maybe the e3 conference.
 
Thing about MS E3 conferences is that they're geared very much toward mass media and investment. There's a lot of fluff and we usually find out all of the good shit at the bottom of a press release after the show (XBLA, SoA, new features, etc).

Major Nelson implying that this show will be geared toward the core gamer is encouraging.
 
I have a touch base meeting with my group at work during this exact hour.

What are my options/excuses?

Will any of the streams work on mobile? Will it be on twitch?
